Audience
• The audience will be between the ages of 15 to 30.
• The demographic will be gamers.
Description
• Not all addictions come from gambling or drugs.
• Video games can be just as big of an addiction as any other drug.
• Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games have led to people devoting their lives to their virtual avatars and negating real life responsibilities.
Why MMO addiction?
• Out of all the genres, MMOs are the most time consuming.
• MMOs can last over hundreds of hours, compared to modern single player games.
• MMOs are constantly updated with new content, providing players with new things to due.
• Modern MMOs today also have micro transactions, that players can spend additional money on.

• Here, a man from China spent over 50,000 Yuan that was suppose go into his seafood business. But instead, he spent the money on in-game items on a game called ‘Legend’. When his father was stricken with poison he ignored his mother’s cries of help because he was busy playing his online game.

• Here, a man shot himself to death in front of his computer. The game he was playing was EverQuest. Due to the interactions with the players online he became depressed then suicidal.

Outcome
• The point of this PSA is bring into awareness the possible outcomes of spending too much time playing MMOs.
