Refundable depositWe ask for a refundable security deposit, to cover borrowed items, based on their replacement cost. We ask that, and presume, all borrowed items will be returned within 2 weeks of your wedding / event, unless agreed otherwise, in writing.

Site visit before or after consultation, charged at same rate as flower delivery (£1 per mile each way, plus £35 per hour).

Adjustments to quote / order: an hour’s consultation is included free of charge as part of our bespoke service, as are 2 adjustments to your order. After this, adjustments to your order are charged at £35 per re-invoice.

Clear-down & collection of itemsCharged at same rate as flower delivery (£1 per mile each way, plus £35 per hour). We ask that, and presume, all borrowed items will be returned within 2 weeks of your wedding / event, unless agreed otherwise, in writing.

FAQs

We want wildflowers for our wedding… Rustic, wild and informal is very much our style, though all of our flowers have been grown especially for cutting. Many are native species, so would be called ‘wild’ if growing in a meadow or verge. Others are classic ‘garden flowers’. Most of the flowers we grow cannot be bought from a wholesaler or high street florist — so you can rest assured that they will stand out and be noticed for all the right reasons.

What if you run out of flowers? We have another flower plot which is not open to the public, so that we have plenty of flowers for wedding customers.

Do seasonal, ‘country garden’ flowers last? Yes. All of our flowers have been grown especially for cutting and, by picking them fresh and straight into water, they will last for your wedding day and beyond. Unlike imported flowers, which may be 2 weeks’ old, our flowers are picked 2-3 days before your wedding, at most. They then stand in water, so they are at optimum freshness when arranged.

What makes Blooming Green’s flowers so special? We grow a wide range of beautiful seasonal flowers which we have carefully selected for their colour, shape and interest. They are hand-grown, hand-tended and hand-picked as well as being organic, seasonal and unique.

Can we request specific flowers and shades? We can’t always guarantee specific blooms, though we are confident that we can provide many of your favourites and work to your colour scheme and ‘look’. What we can guarantee is that your flowers will be beautiful, seasonal and distinctive. They will also have the scent that is so often missing from mass-produced blooms.

How do we place our order? Once you have made your initial inquiry and received our price list and FAQs, we will set a mutually convenient date for your consultation. If you would like to book our services / a specific date before having a consultation, we ask for a £100 non-refundable deposit. After your consultation (usually in the spring of your wedding year) we will come up with a quote, and once this is agreed we ask for a 50% deposit with the remainder at least one week before your wedding.

Can we change our order, once we have accepted Blooming Green’s quote and paid our 50% deposit? Yes. People often change their mind in the run up to their wedding. We are happy to make adjustments, though the more notice we have, the better. Two adjustments / changes are included, without charge. After that, changes will be charged at £35 per re-invoice.

Do you deliver? Yes. We charge a minimum of £40, plus £1 each way for every mile over 15 miles. We recommend delivery the afternoon / evening before your wedding. Weekend deliveries are charged at double rate.

Can you provide our church and / or reception flowers? Yes, we’d love to help. With our bespoke service we can provide all of your flower arrangements. If, however, you would like us to provide buckets of flowers for the church flower ladies to arrange, we are happy to pick complementary flowers, in keeping with all of your other arrangements.

What is the difference between ‘Bespoke’ and ‘Affordable’ Wedding Flowers?

Our Bespoke Wedding Flowers option includes an hour’s consultation with Jen where you can bring photos and fabric samples and ‘fine tune’ the look of your wedding. If helpful, we can come and visit your wedding venue so that we can plan set-up and delivery and create flower arrangements that work perfectly in situ. Alternatively, our Affordable Wedding Flowers can be ordered online, via our website, and the service does not include a consultation. ‘Not-so-small print’ / T&Cs

Deposits

£100 to secure date – non-refundableThe £100 deposit is subtracted from your final wedding invoice. Payment of deposit is an acknowledgement of Terms & Conditions. The £100 deposit is subtracted from your final wedding invoice.

50% deposit within one month of receiving quote, post consultationIf you decide to postpone your wedding we will hold your 50% deposit until your wedding goes ahead. Payment of deposit is an acknowledgement of our Terms & Conditions.

Quotation and PaymentNo wedding or event is booked until the 50% deposit has been paid. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of consultation. Once the 50% deposit has been paid, then the prices and dates are secure unless stated otherwise. A quotation, followed by an invoice for the cost of your wedding flowers will be sent to you after the initial consultation. This is a guide price as you may make changes closer to the wedding day in terms of type of arrangement and quantity. You will receive a final invoice approximately one month before your wedding. Payment is accepted by card, cash or direct payment via internet banking.

Payment in full is required at least one week before your wedding

CancellationsAll deposits, apart from security deposits for vase hire, are non-refundable. Request for payment of the final amount / invoice total, if you decide to cancel after having paid your 50% deposit, will be charged at our discretion, dependent on circumstances. Complete cancellation of your wedding must be advised in writing.

Availability of flowersWe do not guarantee specific flowers / flower varieties. We will be guided by the questionnaire you fill in at consultation and, if available, we will include your preferred flowers and colours. If these are not available, we will use the questionnaire as inspiration for picking alternative blooms. We will work to a general colour and style, based on our discussions, plus emails and photos that you send us. Please note that this never produces identical flowers or

designs to the photos that you send us, but the images are used as inspiration.

DeliveryAny queries relating to the flowers that have been delivered must be raised within 30 minutes of delivery by telephoning 01622 298676 or 07903 683017

Hire/use of vases, crates etcWe charge a refundable deposit for this service. Containers must be returned to Blooming Green, Loddington Farm, Loddington Lane within 2 weeks — or as agreed.Charges will be made for any glassware returned cracked, chipped or broken. Replacement of goods is charged at the current purchase price, it is then the responsibility of the hirer to reclaim any of these costs from the venue if the venue was at fault.

Equipment hired (jugs, bottles, vases etc) remain the property of Blooming Green at all times.

PhotographsBlooming Green reserves the right to take photographs of flowers and the setting prior to the wedding which may be used for promotional purposes.

ResponsibilityBlooming Green accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage to the hirer or any third party of any equipment hired for use at the event.
