 Key Informant Interview Questions  Semi‐Structured Interviews with Key Informants in Bloordale and Bloorcourt: Interview Outline  Selected individuals from organizations identified as important actors and stakeholders in the changing Bloor strip will be asked to participate in a semi‐structured in‐depth interview of approximately 45 minutes. The following open‐ended questions will guide the interview. The questions will be tailored for each informant to ensure relevance.    

1. What role does the Bloor strip play in the neighbourhood? How has this role changed over time?  

2. A lot of people—including the media—have talked about “problems” along the Bloor strip. What do you understand as being local issues of primary concern to your organization? To others? 

 3. What current efforts exist to revitalize the Bloor strip? What efforts have been undertaken in the past? 

 4. What is your vision for the neighbourhood? 

 5. What barriers or limitations exist to achieving this vision? 

 6. What tools and resources exist to facilitate the implementation of your vision? (These might be located in the 

neighbourhood, in the BIA, at the City of Toronto, etc.)
