    The German natural gas company E.ON and

    the Russian natural gas company Gazprom are

    co-organisers o the 7th Blue Corridor NGV

    Rally, where a convoy o gas vehicles will drive

    across Europe to bring attention to the advan-

    tages o using natural gas or road transport.

    This time the Rally will go round the Baltic Sea,

    and or the frst time ever the Blue CorridorNGV Rally will visit Denmark, and HMN Natur-

    gas will host the Rally Wednesday 9th October.

    Denmark is on the way

    In Denmark, natural gas vehicles is on the political agenda, which

    among other things has resulted in the establishment o more na-

    tural gas flling stations - and more are on the way. Natural gas will

    partly be replaced by biogas. According to the DEA report Alterna-

    tive Fuels biogas or vehicles is one o the cheapest uels rom a

    socio-economic perspective.

    Blue Corridor NGV Rally

    Blue Corridor NGV Rally was launched or the frst time in 2008.

    At that time 9.5 million NGVs were running worldwide. Today more

    than 17 million NGVs are running, with 1.5 million in Europe. Read
