Spouses of deployed Soldiers are eligible to sign up for a Blue Star Card,

which will give you discounts at FMWR facilities, activities and special

events. Your Blue Star Card will be valid throughout the entire deployment.

To get your card, visit Army Community Service on Schoeld Barracks or

Fort Shafter.

Are you a Blue Star Card holder but not receiving FMWR email updates? If so

please email amanda.p.montgomery@us.army.mil so we can register your

email address for Blue Star Card updates.

Create-a-Card, June 1 Sgt. Yano Library &

June 2 AMR Library

Family members of deployed Soldiers are invited to create a

Fathers Day card to send to their Soldier on Wednesday, June

1 from 2:30 4 pm at the Sgt. Yano Library and/or Thursday,June 2 from 3:30 5 pm at the AMR Library. Bring your

creativity and we will supply the materials! The Blue Star Card

program will also give away FREE pre-paid at rate boxes to

send to your Soldier! Limit one box per family, while supplies

last. For more information on Library programs call 655-8002.

Separate Ways @ Tropics, June 3 Tropics

Blue Star Card holders are invited to a free Separate Ways concert at Tropics on

June 3 at 7 pm. This Journey tribute band will be playing all of the hits you love

including Dont Stop Believing and Any Way You Want It. This is an all ages

show, but limited childcare is available. Registration is required by May 30. Call

655-0112 or email Amanda.P.Montgomery@us.army.mil for more information or

to register.

Summer Nights at the Aquarium, June 7 Waikiki AquariumMiss out on our last trip to the aquarium? Well here is your second chance!

On Tuesday, June 7th join your Blue Star Card friends at the Waikiki Aquarium

from 6 - 8 PM. Exhibits will be open, lights will be on and interpreters will be in

the galleries all evening. The evening will have an educational theme relating to

the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands and the opening of the aquariums newest

exhibit. This is an all ages event. All Blue Star Card family members will enjoy

free admission and transportation will be available from Schoeld Barracks.

us.army.mil by May 31st.

Health and Fitness Center Kids on Site Information:

The Kids on Site care for the Health and Fitness center will remain free for valid Blue Star Card holders,

Mon.-Fri., 8-11 a.m., at Kaala Community Activities Center, Bldg. 556. Registration is required. For

Parents Night OutParents Night Out will be held June 4 (AMR CDC and AMR Youth Center), June 25 (Schoeld
