UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENTS Walk off the Wait, March 8 Kaena Poin
Join us on our latest Blue Star Card hike to Kaena Point,Tuesday, March 8. Known as the leaping place of souls,
Kaena Point offers gorgeous views of the northwestern tip of Oahu. Free transportation will be leaving from the Scho eldBarracks Bowling Center parking lot at 8:30 am and returning around 1:00 pm. The trail is not stroller accessible. Make sureto pack sunscreen and plenty of water! You de nitely dontwant to miss this hike! You will earn double punches on yourSUPERSTAR card! Aquarium After Dark, March 15 Waikiki AquariumSpend Spring Break discovering if sh sleep, where sea snails snooze and howlobsters nd their way in the dark on a ashlight tour of Waikiki Aquarium. JoinBlue Star Card on Tuesday March 15 from 7 - 9 pm for Aquarium After Dark, a
nighttime tour of aquarium exhibits where you will view sea creatures like neverbefore! Be sure to bring your ashlight! Transportation will be provided fromScho eld at 5:45 pm. Spaces are limited. Star Recipe of the Month:
INGREDIENTS
White cake mix(we used an 18-1/4-ounce box)
Food coloring(red, blue, green, and yellow)
Baking cups
Whipped cream (optional)DIRECTIONS
1. Prepare your favorite white cake mix,then divide the batter evenly among sixsmall bowls. Following the chart below,dye each bowl of batter a rainbow color.
2. Line 16 muf n pan wells with bakingcups. Evenly distribute the purple batteramong the cups, then the blue, and soon, following the order shown. As yougo, gently spread each layer of batterwith the back of a spoon to cover thecolor underneath.
3. Bake the cupcakes according to yourrecipe directions. Before serving,remove the paper wrapping, and if youlike, top each cupcake with a whippedcream cloud.
