On Monday, December 12, 2011, the Lisbon Community Federal Credit Union celebrated a critical milestone of growth by opening a branch office in Lewiston. Located at 802 Sabattus Street, the branch enables the Credit Union to offer valuable products and services more easily to Lew-iston and Auburn residents. In addition, the location is a convenient alternative to the Lisbon main office for existing Members who travel Sabattus Street on a regu-lar basis.

Tiffiny Stewart, a former Loan Officer at the main of-fice, serves as the Branch Manager and is the main con-tact person for consumer and mortgage loans. Member Service Representative Jennifer Parent is available to assist Members with savings and checking accounts, certificates and other products and services. Lastly, the Teller staff at the branch is as follows: Diane Whitten, Tonya Bodah, Ashley Lebel and Renée Bissonnette (see photo on right).

The Credit Union would like to remind the Mem-bership that all transactions conducted at the Lisbon main office can also be conducted at the Lewiston branch. For example, Members who work in Lewiston that need to make loan payments or cash withdrawals are now able to stop by the branch instead of heading to the main office before it closes. With a drive-up area, a SURF Network ATM, Shared Branching and identical hours of operation, we encourage everyone to visit the branch to perform transactions or to just tour the new facility....(see BRANCH on page 2)

An official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Those in attendance included Credit Union Board Members and Staff, Rep-resentatives from TLA and Landry/French Construction Company, Lewiston Mayor Larry Gilbert, Auburn May-or Richard Gleason, the An-droscoggin County Chamber of Commerce, the Lewiston Auburn Economic Growth Council (LAEGC) and other local dignitaries. The Credit Union would like to thank everyone who attended and participated during this event as well as the LAEGC for their involvement.

DIRECTOR Jessica

Jessica is a 1996 graduate of Lisbon High School. She graduated from Western New England College in 2000 where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Ac-counting. Jessica has been employed with the Town of Lisbon since 2010 as the Finance Director. Prior to that, Jessica was a lead analyst with Iberdrola, USA in the Accounting & Auditing Department.

Jessica is an active member in the community. She has been part of the Lisbon Community School PTO for 4 years. She coaches soccer through the Lisbon Recreation Department and she is currently a Girl Scout Troop Leader for Troop 1629. Jessica resides in Lisbon Falls with her husband, Patrick, and their two daughters, Jordyn & Sophie.

Sarah Wellington - Sarah joined our staff in August of 2011 as a teller. Sarah resides in Lisbon with her parents and four cats. In her free time she enjoys crafting, scrapbooking and spending time with her boyfriend. Welcome aboard, Sarah!

Derek Roberts - Derek came to work with us in October of 2011. Derek is presently enrolled in his 2nd year of nursing at CMMC’s school of nursing. He resides in Lisbon Falls. In his spare time Derek is an assistant coach for Lisbon Falls Christian Academy’s basketball team and is a youth leader at the Lisbon Falls Baptist church. For the past 7 summers, he has worked as a counselor and life guard at Camp Good News, a camp for children between the ages of 8 and13, plus one week of Teen Week. We’re glad to have you join us, Derek.

Aaron Stewart - Aaron was hired by the Credit Union in No-vember of 2011. Aaron was previously employed at Hannaford in Lewiston as a cashier for two years. He resides in Sabattus. Some of Aaron’s hobbies are snowboarding, playing video games and spending time with friends. We’re pleased to have you with us, Aaron.

Diane Whitten - Diane joined the staff of the Credit Union in October of 2011, as a Teller II. She resides in Lewiston with the younger of her 2 daughters. In her spare time she likes to read, make jewelry, and spend time with family and friends. Welcome aboard, Diane!

Ashley Lebel - Ashley joined the Credit Union staff in October of 2011. She resides in Lewiston with her husband, daughter and 4 cats. In her free time she loves spending time with her family and friends, scrap-booking, playing sports and watching movies. We’re glad to have you join us, Ashley.

Renée Bissonnette - Renée joined the Credit Union staff in November of 2011. She resides in Lewiston, very near the new branch, and enjoys walking to work when the weather provides. In May of 2011, Renée graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Maine.
