The Foundation’s fundraising supports crucial

programs including:

• Scholarships for low-income youth to take swim

lessons, attend summer camp, participate in

after school programs, and hold recreation

center memberships.

• Specialized beach wheelchairs to assist

Therapeutic Recreation Program participants.

• Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) placed

at Great Neck Park, the Lynnhaven Boat Ramp

& Beach Facility, and Woodstock Park to ensure

that citizens have access to this lifesaving

equipment at major park facilities.

• Enhancement of community parks and

community recreation centers.
