The Foundation’s fundraising supports crucial programs including: Scholarships for low-income youth to take swim lessons, attend summer camp, participate in after school programs, and hold recreation center memberships. Specialized beach wheelchairs to assist Therapeutic Recreation Program participants. Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) placed at Great Neck Park, the Lynnhaven Boat Ramp & Beach Facility, and Woodstock Park to ensure that citizens have access to this lifesaving equipment at major park facilities. Enhancement of community parks and community recreation centers. The Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Corporation. exciting 5,500 yard par 70 public course features Bermuda

fairways and bentgrass greens, and offers golfers a mildly-

challenging back nine with numerous bunkers and water

provided throughout the day.
