Board members: Jeri Smith, Sheryl Crotinger, Brent Foster, Todd Schmidt, Shea Stewart, Shanon Schneider, Superintendent Holmes, Principal John Niehues, and Clerk Katie Zerr were present. Absent: Ginger Gibson. From the public: Nick Nemechek, Andy Fahrmeier, and Julie Hopkins. Meeting was called to order by President Todd Schmidt. Motion was made by Sheryl Crotinger to approve the agenda. Seconded by Brent Foster; Motion carried 5-0. Shanon Schneider arrived at 9:07 a.m. Andy Fahrmeier and Nick Nemechek presented on options for the gym entrance/lobby renovation and kitchen facelift. They discussed base packages and add on’s for each project. The board decided on the VE base package as presented with alternate options for pricing. Meeting adjourned at 11:42 A.M. Board of Education meets March 20 Unapproved Special Minutes of the USD# 200 Board of Education held on March 20, 2020 at 9:00 A.M. Board members: Jeri Smith, Sheryl Crotinger, Brent Foster, Todd Schmidt, Shea Stewart, Ginger Gibson, Superintendent Holmes, Principal John Niehues, and Clerk Katie Zerr were present. Shanon Schneider attended by Zoom. From the public: Martha Schlegel. Meeting was called to order by President Todd Schmidt. Todd read an opening statement and thank you for being here regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic. Motion was made by Jeri Smith to approve the agenda. Seconded by Shea Stewart; Motion carried 7-0. Todd read the executive order by Governor Kelly closing all schools for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Board discussed the need for continuing Food Service to children in the community during this time. Martha Schlegel left at 9:36 a.m. Board agreed that Greeley County School’s Continuous Learning Plan would start on April 6 th , 2020. A survey will be sent out to assess the needs in the community in regards to internet, technology, and food service. A letter from Hutton was shared with the board which said that they will try to complete the gym lobby and kitchen projects as planned. KSHSAA has canceled all of its activities for the remainder of the school year. Motion was made by Jeri Smith to approve that district office checks will only need two signatures consisting of the board clerk and one board member through June 30 th , 2020. Seconded by Ginger Gibson, motion carried 7-0. Motion was made by Todd Schmidt to accept the resolution of the board so that district wage payments will continue during Kansas’ Emergency School Closings as presented. Seconded by Shanon Schneider, motion carried 7-0. Motion was made by Todd Schmidt for the Board, Clerk Katie Zerr, JH/HS Principal John Niehues, and Superintendent Holmes to enter executive session for 5 minutes for the purpose of discussing individual employee’s performance pursuant to non-elected personnel exception under KOMA; and the board will return to open session at 11:12 am in this room. The executive session is required to protect the privacy interests of the individuals to be discussed. Seconded by Shea Stewart; motion carried 7-0. Meeting adjourned at 11:13 A.M. Old Business 1. Building renovations XI. Other XII. Adjournment Board of Education to meet April 13th On March 9 th , 2020 at 4:00pm the Go-Getters 4-H club met. They started the meeting off with the pledge of Allegiance lead by Ellie. Next on the addenda they did the 4-H pledge led by Emily. Roll call was then announced by 6/6 members by stating what was their favorite college basketball team. Anna read the minutes from the last meeting. Taven reports that the minutes were placed in the paper. The education was done by James about electing nominees. Christina presented the leaders report which was about the good turnout for 4-H days. She also reminded the group about small animal clinic March 24 th and Loyalty Days on May 2 nd and 3 rd . Christina also let us know that 4-H camp registrations will be coming out in the mail next week. Old business discussed was about the fundraisers. The group members will need to bring 2 different items on April 27 th to sell at this time bake sale. The bake sale will go from 10:00am to 2:00pm in front of Dixon Drug. James, Taven, Anna, and Emily will hang up fliers on the April 23 rd , 2020 after school for bake sale. The quilt raffle was discussed next. Christina explained how the extension board will need to approve the quilt raffle. Christina will order tickets for sales. The drawing for the raffle will be held on Sunday before the beef show at Loyalty Days. No new business discussed at this time. Unapproved Special Minutes of the USD# 200 Board of Education held on March 12, 2020 at 9:00 A.M.

Board members: Jeri Smith, Sheryl Crotinger, Brent Foster, Todd Schmidt, Shea Stewart, Shanon Schneider, Superintendent

Holmes, Principal John Niehues, and Clerk Katie Zerr were present. Absent: Ginger Gibson. From the public: Nick Nemechek, Andy Fahrmeier, and Julie Hopkins.

Motion was made by Sheryl Crotinger to approve the agenda. Seconded by Brent Foster; Motion carried 5-0.

Shanon Schneider arrived at 9:07 a.m.
