SBVC’s Biology Department wished to surplus the items which are no longer used by the district. Education Code 81450.5 provides that a community college district may donate property to a school district or public entity. The estimated value of the donation is $2,500.00. All supporting material from the agenda and addendum are available on the district website. BOARD UNANIMOUSLY VOTES APPROVING FINAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 The colleges and the district office have each used their program review and/or strategic planning processes to determine their highest priority goals and objectives. Consequently, the budget reflects resources allocated to departments based on those prioritized requirements, in an effort to match resources with the highest priority goals and objectives throughout the San Bernardino Community College District. The budget includes a long-range financial plan that incorporates Full Time Equivalent Student (FTES) enrollment management projections by college, personnel and benefits costs, revenue projections, and cost of living adjustments. It provides clear direction to the colleges, allows SBCCD to make changes as necessary, and helps measure progress on established goals as well as identifies and minimizes risks. The final budget incorporates the projected income and expenditures of SBCCD for fiscal year 2018-19. The approved budget will be transmitted to the County and submitted to the State of California. The 2018-19 final budget is available on the district website. He replaced Diane Dusik. • Israel Mendez is the new college police officer for the district's Police Department effective, 9/14/2018. He replaced Blake Bonnet. • Robyn Seraj is the new pharmacy technology instructor for SBVC's Nursing Department, effective 8/9/2018. • Yesica Alatorre is the new traffic coordinator at KVCR/FNX, effective 8/10/2018. She replaced C. Alexander.
