Bob Marshall for Selectman Accountability is needed for all of our tax dollar considerations continually spending more
than we take in is unsustainable. You wouldnt do that with your own persona
budgets; neither should the town.
Failed projects with no accountability cost town residents money to repair after the fact -
additional spending after initial projects fail are unacceptable (Springs Brook, DPW Gate,
Hartwell Road water main)
We spend millions of dollars for passive recreation (wet lands & conservation land)
shouldnt we be able to fund a turf field for our childrens safe, active recreation
Do residents really need to have twenty-five public vehicles taken home every night?
Escalating tax rates are a concern; especially to fixed income residents
Fundamental requirements to maintain our infrastructure continually fall unfunded behind
other programs in town politics as usual
I will stipulate that we have clarity and transparency in all town investments
Less than 3% of the residents attend Town Meetings why? Thats where politics as usual
really triumph
I will work toward having a Town Meeting that more seniors, younger families, and working
people could attend which probably would be best suited for a weekend
I will be your voice to stand up against politics as usual in town the politically active establishment will fight hard against having
a good balance in town will you help ?
