    PNBOA Board March 28th 2011

    APPROVAL OF PRIOR MINUTES

    Come to Order: 7pm

    1. Assignors Rec Leslie

    Bull Dog league in Everett is expanding.

    Spring AAU started last week Cash games Saturday & Sunday

    John: Cascade Jr highs finishing up leagues. $200, 000 has come in from

    schools. Coming: Highland spring league. Garfield has a June tournament

    Banquet: $25 deduction for each member. $35 for guest over one. Woody will

    sent names to for members with extra guest

    2. Treasurer- Sam

    $265, 000 in the bank

    Emerald City will be turned over to LL financial collection. Their split 65/35

    If it goes to court, it is 50/50

    Service agreement with clients. Sam & Leslie will be working with us on a

    procedure in the future.

    Scholarships- $100 Awarded to 15 including Rookie of the year. ECOA camp

    has donated 4 scholarships to ECOA for our rookie, person, ironman & fireman

    recipients.

    3. Vice President- Woody

    135 members signup plus 90 guest. Biggest banquet in years. Hall of fame folks.

    Task force friends.

    Drew has a concern about a suit and tie requirement that was on the web. Miss

    leading. People have different definitions of business casual. Woody will send

    out message to, Dress to impress. No shirts or blue jeans!Review/approve awards (VP)

    Awards have been set.

    Sound athletics has donated 4 door prizes.

    All turn back fine money goes to assignors Leslie & John

    Guest speaker will be Nalin Sood 10-15 minutes

    Name tags being tasked by Scott Fetterly

    Roses for the ladies by Mr. Joe Thompson

    Golf Prizes by Leslie $200 budget

    No Music.No Longevity award

    7 people on the task force will be given $10 gift cards.

    4. Membership- Andy

    WOA dues list needs to be final by May. Board members do not pay dues as per

    constitution. If one worked 2 girls games they will be charged $30. SOWB will

    pay the other $30 to WOA. College class still pays the $60

    WOA payments / SOWB reconcile 251 registered full PNBOA. 102 joint in both.

    WOA and PNBOA numbers are off a few people. Andy and John will reconcile

    numbers.

    Request for PNBOA membership:

    Returning James Ewing ok

    Aaron Wells transfer ok

    Former member A no

    Motion to approve: Andy / Thornley Carried

    Discussion about how the PNBOA & SOWB can work better together. Integrated

    merge? Drop AM? Drop all shared programs? SOWB and PNBOA will talk.

    Boards will talk. Future to be determined.

    Andy: Idea Spend $200 for annual membership for survey monkey.

    Tim: Should we contract out entire evaluation process from assigning to

    scoring?

    Ideas for not offering PNBOA contracts. Went around the room to give opinions.

    5. Evaluation- Doug An observer had wrong dates entered. Would like to get

    preliminary scores out before end of the month. Registered member B was

    missing scores.

    6. Apprentices: Nick POST Season Apprentice class at St Lukes April30th.Apprentice 201 This is not a new class. Offering meeting credit. Nick

    expects about 20. Looking for $200-300 dollars for rental, pizza & pop.

    Minimum Age requirement for PNBOA membership . 16 suggested by Leslie

    7. President- Tim

    Task Force Update: 1636 is in rules committee. Bills can die. Make you

    legislative contacts.

    8. NEW BUSINESS:

    Review of State Tournament - Incident at 3a state was discussed. It is a WOA

    situation. Woody will talk to the person as it involves perception for the PNBOA.

    Board retreat, time to think/evolve ideas/set parameters & goals
