Pr esident Tim- Has ordered Roberts rules of order for the executive board. Motion Tim / Andy to confirm Nick Michael as Binning¶s replacement Passed Tim has book reading recommendation s . ³It¶s your Ship´ Leadership and Self - Desception. By the retreat we need to update job descriptions. Constitution - we need to change. Citing e.g. ³Adequate official being sent to board´ Woody- Let¶s get items to the departments we need to get them to. We need honesty. Send names for your committee to Mr. Thornley before the retreat. July 20 th Tim wants more responsibility coming from Presidents committee. The president¶s committee task needs to be redefined. There needs to be guidelines set up for appeals to the P.C. It should no be automatic. We need to be aware of how we communicate and when we communicate. Tim wants to make sure we are on topic Comments from the board: Mr. T- Presidents committees is a by -law that will have to have changes approved by the membership. Craig- likes our direction we are going, especially with communication Recreation Phil - Likes our communication direction Twitter, Facebook et al Doug- E-mail communication. As per Doug¶s e -mail earlier in the year. We have to beware of, ³Reply to all´. John- Don¶t react to the minority complaints. We spend too much time of a handful of people. The one¶s that scream the loudest.
