Sourced from 83 year old vines & aged 13 months in New French Oak barrels. A glass coating opaque purple color, it offers up an inviting bouquet of wood

smoke, mineral, violets, spice box, espresso, licorice & blackberry. Sweet, ripe, succulent & beautifully proportioned on the palate; it deftly manages to be

elegant while retaining the power of TORO. Ramiro Carbajo understands like no one else the intricate complexity of the Duero rivers surrounding the soils of Toro. From Ribera del Duero & Toro he has been the heart of some of the most famous wineries, & now with his great friend & partner, Florentino Ferrin, he has be able to create the wine of his dreams; SOFROS, from ancient Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo) vines.
