Over 100 years of Experience and Know how

Eng. Luigi Boldrocchi took his first orders for the supply of centrifugal fans.

The first air pollution control plant was commissioned. The company offered a wide range of products, including radial and axial fans, fire-tube boilers,

coolers, dryers, ventilation and heat-exchange units and fume control plants.

We started the manufacture of finned tubes and heat-exchangers.

Boldrocchi Aeroto started his activity in the field of gas turbine ancillaries.

Boldrocchi Ecologia division was set up for the environmental field.

Acquisition of De Cardenas and Marelli Ventilation. The two acquisitions have produced one of the worlds outstanding companies in the industrial

fan market.

Since 2000 Boldrocchi S.r.l. established joint venture operations in France, Germany, u.S.A., India, Brazil and Mexico.

Boldrocchi is also a leading European company for process air coolers and has gained customers all around the world.

More than 200 welding procedures have been qualified.

Aeroto Boldrocchi India

The joint venture company Aeroto Boldrocchi India Pvt Ltd (A.B.I.) has been set up in 2005 by joining of Boldrocchi company know-how with Indian partners respective expertise. Boldrocchi has been supplying fans in India since 1980 and the Indian partners have vast know how and introduction in sales, design and manufacturing of industrial fans and air pollution control plants. In 2007 A.B.I. has started the production of industrial fans in its factory near Chennai. In 2010 thanks to the growth, A.B.I. has doubled the factory to 5500 sqm.

Fans & Blowers

Boldrocchi today is the oldest & more experienced Italian manufacturer of fans. The company is now a worldwide leader in the production of industrial heavy duty fans up to 10MW

installed power. Well over the 80% of the produced fans are of special design and almost all are for industrial

applications, such as:

The production range is very wide and embraces radial fans, blowers and axial fans.

Over 60% of large Enels boilers are equipped with our heavy duty fans.

In 1927 we started manufacturing finned tubes.

All projects involve thermal design, mechanical design, structural and stress analysis and finally the choise of the best solution respecting the required noise level, whilst optimizing required power, ensuring easy transportation, installing and maintenance combined with competitive prices.


Electrical Machines Cooling

In 1931 Boldrocchi manufactured the first oil transformer coolers with forced ventilation and, since 1948, an engineering department has been exclusively interested in the cooling of large electrical machines.

More than 20.000 oil coolers have been installed on power & industrial transformers.

We are the only worldwide company that can solve any cooling need of heavy duty transformers providing:

entirely manufactured in our shop.

Ever since its foundation, Boldrocchi has contributed with avantgarde technologies to the control of gaseous emissions from industrial plants.

From the results obtained by hundreds of systems, Boldrocchi Ecologia can find reliable solutions for all types of polluting emissions: from the traditional dust removal to highly sophisticated technologies for reducing organic micro pollutants, gaseous acids, vaporized metals, sulphur and nitrogen oxides.

Industrial Noise Protection & G.T. Ancillaries

Since 1952 Boldrocchi has been designing noise protection equipment for all types of industrial applications and mainly for gas turbine up to 300 MW.

Boldrocchi aims is to give technical assistance to public and private customers in solving problems con-nected with industrial noise pollution.

Over 400 inlet and exhaust silencing systems have been installed in gas-turbine power plants all over the world (all custom engineered). This wide experience is useful not only in new power plants but also when refurbishing and retrofitting existing plant is needed.

Heavy Duty & Diverter Dampers

Tailor made heavy duty dampers and guillotine dampers. The range of products includes on-off and modulating types as well as zero leakage type.

The diverter damper is used in combined cycle power plants with the aim to maximize flexibility.

Boldrocchi designs and manufactures diverter dampers installed downstream of any type of gas turbine providing its know-how to satisfy customers requirements.

We offer the latest design tools to provide the highest added value to the product:Mechanical design and the fluid dynamic studies are performed to highlight the internal flow

distribution and to minimize vortex and the vibration stress.Noise impact studies are carried out both in relation to internal noise and to external noise field

thanks to dedicated noise simulation codes.

Boldrocchi performs test runs for dampers in the presence of the Client before the shipping, achieving the overcoming of all the tests required by the stringent customer specifications.
