about

collectionsThe Spring Collection is inspired by the colorful blooms of Ethiopia’s endemic flowers, including the yellow Adey daisy. The collection features modern interpretations of traditional Ethiopian motifs.

The Classics Collection is the cornerstone of the brand. The collection features warm neutrals of un-dyed Ethiopian cotton, as well as grays and tans. A modern and timeless collection perfect for any space, from the urban dwelling to the rustic getaway.

We are committed to producing beautiful home accessories of the highest quality. This would not be possible without the team of artisans we have enlisted as our partners.

We work directly with weaving collectives and small woman-owned businesses in Ethiopia, helping them grow their businesses and revitalize their local economies. In addition to supporting local artisans, Bolé Road Textiles also contributes to nonprofits doing vital work across a range of sectors in Ethiopia.

Our products take anywhere from a few hours to several days to complete. Each yarn of all of our products are handloomed by our artisans. The final production and packaging takes place in Brooklyn where Bolé Road Textiles is based.

hello I’m Hana Getachew. A few years ago, I had the idea to merge my love of Ethiopian handwoven fabrics with my career in interior design. Bolé Road Textiles is the happy result of that labor of love. I am so happy and honored to share my passion for design and my heritage with you.

At Bolé Road Textiles we believe that textiles have the ability to transform interiors and inspire the people within them. We design textiles for inspired living.
