A lot of talk gets tossed around in snowboarding these days about “doing it for fun”. Here at Bond, we like to think that there is just no other possible way to do it.
Whether you are hiking a new line, sessioning the park with your friends, or just waxing your board for the next day’s runs, it all brings a smile to our faces and would bet that it does to yours as well.
A lot of times we hear the term “back in the day” thrown around to describe some great times that have been had on the mountains over the years, and it leads us to remind you that those times are made every day you go out. Make the most
out of it. Take that extra run. Hike that extra ridge. Stay out past dark. Take that last lift.
Enjoy the now.

A lot of talk gets tossed around in snowboarding these days about “doing it for fun”. Here at Bond, we like to think that there is just no other possible way to do it.

Thumbderwear
A commitment to sustainabilityEvery piece of Bond outerwear and apparel that comes out of our doors has been pored over again and again to make sure that we are doing all we can to make the most sustainable pieces possible.
All of our outer shells and inner liners utilize a blend of Recycled PET (made from plastic bottles and containers) , and virgin polyester that is completely recyclable. Both are materials that have been used before and can be used again for years to come.
We took this and looked at all other facets of outerwear. Snaps? Made from discarded plastic pellets from heavy industry. Zipper pulls and Buttons? Same deal. One man’s trash is another’s treasure, or at least another man’s cargo pocket snap.
Coconut Grove™ Wicking SystemThese discarded shells from the food industry provide a very active level of evaporative cooling and odor resistance that can be blended into a small amount of polyester to create a super functional inner lining. While we warn you though, you might wonder why you all of a sudden crave a Pina Colada rather than a Chili Bread Bowl at lunch.
Waste Management Pocket
THANK YOU
This water resistant lined pocket will take care of even the snottiest Kleenex, the chocolatiest candy wrapper, or even an exploded tube of sunscreen. Basically, anything that you really don’t want, please don’t throw it on the hill, put it in here. Also can be used as a normal storage pocket. Duh.
Guaranteed not to ride up, just to ride well. These handy little devils keep your jacket in place and snow out of your wrists. Unless you’re into that sort of thing...
Lycra Phantom
No Damn Snow DamWe all know that one tiny wisp of snow down your neck pretty much has a first class ticket to your buttcrack. The No Damn Snow Dam is a barrier to entry against our fine flaked friends.
No Scuff CuffThere’s nothing worse than taking your boots off and going to gas up your car on the way home and coming back with half of the parking lot in your socks from your pant gai-ters that are hanging on the ground. That’s why we devised the No Scuff Cuff. This gives you the option to snap your cuff up when you aren’t riding so you aren’t dragging it through who knows what every time you walk through a parking lot or lodge bathroom. And when we say “who”, we mean us, and when we say “what”, we are talking about piss.
InsulationOur shell series, light and versatile. You know, like a helper monkey.Keeps you warm by placing insulation only where you need it, around your core. Maximum warmth without sacrificing mobility.
WaterproofingAll of our waterproofing is engineered to be as environmentally friendly as it is durable. Ask yourself, how often do you wash your jacket? Probably not as much as you should. Our waterproof coatings are so long lasting that you can wash your jacket 10 times, and it will still be as waterproof as the day you got it.

Magic SquareWhat’s that? Your new jacket came with a goggle wipe in the pocket? Oh, you lost it before you even left the store? Oh you wish someone would just use their noodle and put it somewhere where you would always use it and could never lose it? OK, we admit it, we read your diary, sorry, we’ll put it back…and don’t worry about the pages we ripped out.
Lift CaddyDropped gloves are the major find in spring missions under the chairlift. Well, we finally ran out of one handed people to give them to down at the fireworks factory so we decided to put this handy glove holder on our pants and jackets so people would stop dropping them all the time.
Powder Patrol SystemIt’s been dumping. You see the chair come around the bullwheel and it’s covered in snow and ice. You have no choice but to plant your posterior right into it and know that today is going to be a snowy one. Our Powder Patrol system will help you slay the dragon that is a frozen bum by connecting your waist gaiter to your pants, protecting you against the frozen elements. We’re working on solving the problem of frozen boogers next.

However, we have to admit we felt like complete jackasses trying to get off of the lift with our umbrellas fully open. I think if we run them closed we might be onto something. Look out headphones, your days are numbered.

All of our outer shells and inner liners utilize a blend of Recycled PET (made from plastic bottles and containers) , and virgin polyester that is completely recyclable. Both are materials that have been used before and can be used again for years to come.
We took this and looked at all other facets of outerwear. Snaps? Made from discarded plastic pellets from heavy industry. Zipper pulls and Buttons? Same deal. One man’s trash is another’s treasure, or at least another man’s cargo pocket snap.
Coconut Grove™ Wicking SystemThese discarded shells from the food industry provide a very active level of evaporative cooling and odor resistance that can be blended into a small amount of polyester to create a super functional inner lining.
