A cultural center for its function is a symbolic project who references to a burgeoning. The bet in
this project was to pass a compromise between a sense of openness and modernity on the one
hand and a cultural experience on the other hand. In addition this project should offer users a
powerful tool away from tinkering scenographic house neighborhood culture.
The land is at the heart of the city, the implantation was done spontaneously on the main street
paving project in the city. Our project is a gesture of urban structure carried by a vector of
culture (theater, music, shows and Cinema) which extends the concept of town center and is
involved in its valorization and social property.

The concept can be summed up as follows: the project derives its strength from the curve
gesture of the primary volume that includes the administration and the multipurpose room thus
marking an entry for welcoming of students arriving of two meaningson the main street. A major
axis structure the classrooms and the central court around which is organized administration, the
sociocultural unity and that of the teachers. Our worry was to keep an aisle of cypress existing
which constitutes in our project the culmination to the sport hall from the central court. Propose
an ambiance where the vegetal is expressed or the light created with the set of volumes of
spaces designed a pleasant game of shadows and light has been our major worry throughout the
design process.
conception.

The project is developed around the idea of a boat that dropped its moorings to the lake shore.
The proximity of the site to the lake of Tunis has directed towards the adoption of the
metaphor of the boat in the image of the project. The functional dichotomy between two
entities noisy / quiet - dirty / clean manifests itself at the level of volumetry by buildings a body
of "composite" : A party in carpentry dedicated to the vehicles of SPLT & a part in "hard"
reserved for the laboratory. The project aims to establish a relationship with his site. Here we
have developed two key ideas: The first is "to affirm the presence of the building" Which is
reflected in the work on the external image of the building. The second stems from a
questioning that is " what we will observe of the site ?". Technics of framing of view
manifested in different types of opening: Opening in a band which allows you to benefit from a
selected view (panoramic) on the subdivision to "Berge du Lac". The portholes (circular
opening), which emphasizes the notion of the trip to report always with the naval metaphor.
The project asserts its presence by the horizontality, a result manifest by portic of about twentymeters which masks the structure of the workshops and create continuity of the the building.

It is a construction project of a building to Administrative vocation. The project is
distinguished by the simplicity of its volume and lightness of its expression. It is inscribed of
his immediate environment as an anchor because of these horizontals. White is his
predilection color contrasting with the blue sky and the glazing. The main ideas of the project
are summarized as follows: The spaces are organized around 3 empty (patios) that structured
the composition. In the axis of the entrance is the first patio of whose is a culmination for a
meeting room common, the second patio comprises a set of offices and the third is a space of
service. A secondary access is provided for the administration, another completely
independent for the locker rooms of the laborers.

The development of the economic and industrial system and the preservation of the local and
environmental sustainability are of great interest. Besides this primary and general objective,
investment charts have identified 15 objectives which can be grouped into three main
components:
1. Development of the industrial growth through the cost reduction and the increase of
the direct investment and t he identification of the industrial priorities;
2. Improvement of the used technologies, the administration and the skills through the
establishment of centres for support services, capacity building and quality control;3. Connection with other active sectors by improving the environment and establishing a
demographic equilibrium and a better use of the transportation system.
Analysing the general characteristics of the industrial area project Elfataih in Dernah site,
one can conclude that responding even partially to the latter objectives requires great efforts.
