WHAT IS THE TRAINING ABOUT

Project Management for Proactive Youth Leaders is a eight-days-long training organised by a non-profit NGO called Association of Ukrainian Youth in Austria (TUMA) under Erasmus+ program.

•  Dates of the project: 26.04.2015 – 3.05. 2015

•  City: Vienna

•  Language of the training: English

•  Number of participants: 24

•  Countries of participants: Austria, Germany, France,

Poland, Estonia, Ukraine, Belarus & Georgia

WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY

The aim of the training is to provide young active leaders of youth NGOs with the tools and knowledge on how to develop their organisations, increase awareness of citizens about their activities and how to gain additional resources for project realisations.

•  You will learn about how to initiate, plan and realise projects in your NGOs from professional trainers

•  The training will include discussion rounds, experience sharing and group projects that will be presented at the end of the training

•  The participants will also learn how to bring the acquired knowledge to their organisations

•  You will meet a great bunch of people

WHAT IS INCLUDED

The project is FREE OF CHARGE for the participants and it is financed by the EU Commission under Erasmus+ Program. The program covers:

•  Travel costs for participants from the city of their organisation to Vienna*

•  Accommodation (including a place in a hostel for the whole duration of the training and 3 meals per day)

•  Training from amazing trainers J

•  Fun activities (let us surprise you when you come)

*Depending  on  the  travel  distance  different  amount  will  be  refunded     4

x  ü  You have to be an active member of the youth non-for-profit

NGO and willing to learn and apply acquired knowledge to develop your organisation

ü  You must be between 20 and 35 years of age

ü  Having experience in project management is not required, but preferable. The most important is your strong desire to take part in the training and implement the knowledge in your organization and community

ü  You have to have at least intermediate level of English (B1-B2) - be able to understand and take part in discussion

PROFILE OF THE TRAINER

Andriy is a professional trainer with the extensive experience in the project management for non-profit organisations. •  2002 – 2012 Andriy was a trainer and project manager at Donetsk

Youth Debate Centre and responsible for fundraising, project management & implementation of trainings

•  Andriy volunteered for Youth Partners in Development Programme (YPD) and EC Youth in Action Programme in EECA

•  Andriy was a trainer at various Erasmus+ projects, including a project “Take things in your own hands” held in Vienna in 2013

•  .... and many other experiences that he will gladly share with you at the training

TUMA was established on January 24, 2010 in Vienna by a group of enthusiastic students from Ukraine with the aim to organize and create a platform for young Ukrainians studying and working in Austria. During four years TUMA has become a leading active Ukrainian organization in Austria.
