BOP TEMPERATUREPRESSURE PROBE
EFCs BOP temperature/pressure probe is designed to replacethe
blind flange in a 15,000 psi BOP RAM. It monitors bothtemperatures
and pressures inside the stack during operations.
The probe is sized so that the instrumented tip remains
justoutside the wellbore: in this position the sensors sit in a
positionequivalent to that of a retracted ram.
Asecondary seal arrangement is rated to 22,500psi.
Aheavy duty housing fully protects the electrical
connections.
The probe provides temperature and/or pressure signals, whichcan
be displayed and recorded as part of a HPHT monitoringpackage.
EFCs BOP probes have an operational track record over a 15year
period and have been successfully deployed on a numberof North Sea
HPHT wells.
