Hosted by USAG Humphreys Three days and two nights jammed packed of

fun!!!

This year’s BOSS Beach Blast

(BBB) will go down in history as

the best ever! It was jammed

packed with entertainment,

games, wonderful food and great

adventures at the water park.

Everybody had a BLAST! Before

we even left there was talk about

how, “we can’t wait until next

year” or “I wish I could be here

for the BBB next year”.

Friday evening the BBB was

kicked off with a warm

welcoming from the USAG

Humphreys CSM, CSM Jason Kim.

Followed by CSM Kim’s

welcoming the Suwon BOSS Team

served a wonderful Spaghetti

dinner. After dinner it was off to

the beach to dance to all the

latest and greatest hits from DJ

Desmond and his crew.

Saturday started off with the

Opening Ceremony where we

were honored to be greeted by

Daechon’s Vice Mayor and City

Officials to include ROK Army

Officers. After the Opening

Ceremony, COL Moore, CSM

Abbott, CSM Burrows, CSM

Lavender and CSM Kim along

with the youngest SM (18yrs of

age) all joined in cutting a cake in

celebration of the Army’s 234th

Birthday. Then it was off to the

beach for some fun in the sun!

Later, Saturday evening we all

met up at the LeGrand Water

Park. DJ Desmond, his crew and

two guests DJ’s (SGT Polk, Clovis

III from Yongsan and Aaron

Tyszkiewicz, from Osan AB)

entertained us as we all splashed

around the park.

On 25 July 2010 Camp Stanley BOSS held the

“Hoop-It-Up competition”, at the gym. The event

was a success with the support of its units with

event, many volunteers, and thirty Soldiers

participating in the individual contests to include

a 3on3 tournament. Individual events included

shot, and dribbling contest. The three highest

scores for each event received AFFEES Gift Cards.

The winners of the 3on3 tournament also

received an AFFEES gift cards. Thank you to the

Units for their support and BOSS Council for their

The USAG Red Cloud and USAG Casey/Area I Family extended an invite to the IMCOM Korea Region BOSS Team for the BOSS Hoop It Up Competition and Casey CAC Open House. The Hoop It Up Competition was very exciting! The bleachers in the Stanley Gym were packed with screaming fans and the players were so good you would have thought your were amongst Pro-players. There were various competitions such as: Free throw, Half court shots, Dribbling contest, Hot-shot shooting competition, Three point shootout contest, Slam dunk contest and Three-on-three single elimination basketball tournament. Saturday morning we were amazed as soon as we opened the Casey CAC door! The Casey CAC Open House featured a weekend full of activities including video game competitions, an 8-Ball Pool Tournament, Table Tennis Tournament and crash courses in Arts and Crafts, i.e. Candle making, Keepsake box making, Paper Frame Making and Model Painting. There were lots of door prizes and food and drinks for everyone. Thank you USAG Red Cloud and USAG Casey/Area I Family for the invite! It was an unforgettable experience!
