Both the Rapture and the Onset of the Day of the Lord’s Wrath Occur on

the Same Day. In other words, these two events will occur back-to-back

on the same day without any time gap or intervening course of events. The rapture will take place, then on that

same day the Day of the Lord's wrath will begin and continue for some undetermined duration of time finally

culminating with the battle of Armageddon.

2 Peter 3:12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.

2 Thessalonians 1:6-10 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
