Boulder City Hospital strives to

provide our patients with the

best treatment options and the

highest quality of care available.

Quality care is our top priority

– that’s why we participate in

quality core measurements, a

national performance measure-

ment system. Core measures

help hospitals compare and

continuously improve the care

provided at healthcare facilities.

Boulder City Hospital

scored 100% in all core qual-

ity measures during the

second quarter! Our ongoing

commitment to provide high

quality care to each one of our

patients is reflected in our core

measurement score. No won-

der 99% of patients who receive

care at Boulder City Hospital

would recommend Boulder City

Hospital to friends and family!

Boulder City Hospital provides

each of our patients with indi-

vidualized care, focused on

YOUR specific needs. We strive

to be the community’s choice for

all of your healthcare related

needs. Our highly trained staff

ensures that every patient re-

ceives the attention they deserve

and the appropriate care needed

for a speedy recovery.

Quality Matters at Boulder City Hospital

Improved access to

healthcare services is a

priority for all community

hospitals. To help ad-

dress this issue, Boulder

City Hospital has created

partnerships with medical

specialists to practice in

Boulder City on a part-

time basis. This coopera-

tive agreement helps to

improve access as well as

decrease the need for

many residents to leave

town for healthcare. We

thank the following physi-

cians for playing a crucial

role in providing much

needed specialty services

DEXA Scan Used To

Diagnose Osteoporosis

A DEXA scan is most commonly

recommended to diagnose and moni-

tor cases of osteoporosis or os-

teopenia. DEXA provides EARLY

detection of bone loss, making it possi-

ble to receive treatment BEFORE

damage becomes irreparable.

If you suffer from or are at risk of

osteoporosis, we encourage you to

talk to your doctor about the benefits

of a DEXA scan. Boulder City Hospi-

tal’s DEXA scanning equipment is state

of the art and offers painless, noninva-

sive scanning that takes approximately

10 minutes. Just bring an order from

your physician and schedule your same

or next day appointment.

When a loved one requires 24-hour

nursing care, the Long Term Care

Program at Boulder City Hospital is

here to help. Our long term care

program allows direct and im-

mediate access to emergency,

critical care and comprehensive

hospital services, in the event an

acute illness should arise.

We take pride in the wide

variety of activities we offer to our

residents. Our residents’ lifestyles

are active and uplifting, just what your

loved one needs in this stage of their

life.

On a daily basis, residents enjoy

stimulating activities such as:

Trivia Movie nights

Baking Games

Exercise and more

Off-campus activities and experiences

occur every Tuesday. Our residents

visit::

• The Mirage Dolphin show

• Lake Mead Cruises,

• Shopping

• Picnics …..and so much more!

We also have monthly dinner cele-

brations for our resident’s birthdays

which fall within each month.

Our friendly staff loves

bringing smiles to our

residents’ faces!
