Need to Know
• Construction will make traffic a burden for a few months, please be patient.
• All students will release at 4:00 for the first two weeks of school, then tutoring will begin.
• Bowie serves “Breakfast in the Classroom” to all students.• We require students to carry a backpack everyday.
Lockers are not used at Bowie.• Skyward Access is available for you to check your
students grades and attendance online. Please see the front office during regular school hours to acquire access.
More things to know
• School begins at 8:00• If you come to the school, please check in at
the office. • We require all parents/guardians that check
students out of school to be on the registration card and take a picture ID before leaving.

Suggestions for bring your student to Bowie
1. We encourage parents who drop off 6th graders, 7th/8th grade athletes and band/orchestra students to avoid Nelson and use Ross or Grand to 10th for reaching the designated drop-off area.
2. We would encourage traffic on 11th to move east.
3. Please be patient with construction and be safe driving as we begin this fall.

Rock Solid - Folder
• Each student will receive a folder with a Rock Solid.
• The Rock Solid is used to teach students organization plus access to key learning components.
• Students must carry the Rock Solid at all times.
• Please check your students Rock Solid daily.
