Serenity Choice Security & Military KIM 12 by Phonak is extremely comfortable hearing protection that reliably protects your hearing from dangerous noise peaks. At the same time, speech comprehen-sion and situational awareness are maintained before and after the noise incident.

The KIM 12 filter is CE and ANSI IPIL certified for impulse noise of up to 166 dB with an attenuation of 33 dB. This filter is particularly suitable for single shots, rapid bursts of gunfire and explosions.

The filter’s unique mesh technology attenuates continuous noise by only 12 dB, enabling the user to hear commands and other sounds as well as the direction of the sound source. This unique function also maintains the user’s sense of space.
