Mission Assembly The District website reports. From my point of view the Mission Assembly progressed well the draft District Strategic Plan in preparation for the District Chapter. All engaged productively in the process. My thanks to Tracy Adams (Chair) and the planning committee. Thanks also to the LMS team and staff at the Provincial Office who contributed both before and during the event. I have invited the members of the LMC to attend the Chapter which gives an important link between the Mission Assembly and the Chapter.

Balgo Hills Following successful negotiations between LMS, the Diocese of Broome and Catholic Education Western Australia, Lasallian Volunteers and a Youth Minister position will be reintroduced at Luurnpa Catholic School in 2019. Bishop Saunders indicated that the Brothers are also welcome. An MOU will be signed between all the parties including the Visitor.

Novitiate Applications I have upon the advice of their formators and the District Council accepted Simon Opu and Zafar Iqbal for entry to the Novitiate in August 2018. Both will receive the religious habit in their home Sectors on a date yet to be advised.

Check Out In addition to checking the District website take a look also at the international website on www.lasalle.org
