Bookstart – The Concept

Bookstart is based on the principle that every child in the UKshould have the opportunity to enjoy book sharing from asearly an age as possible.

Bookstart – The Practicalities

• Gift of free packs of books with information

• Packs gifted by health visitors, libraries etc

Distribution of packs:

Baby Pack – 100% coverage = Best Practice

Treasure Chests – 99% coverage = Best Practice
