Brand Your Listings using KWLSby Rob Lightbody
Keller Williams agents have a secret weapon available. It’s the KWLS listing tool. Byleveraging the power of the KWLS, you have a distinct and potent advantage over yourcompetition. You have the ability to brand your listings in the popular real estate websitesthat ListHub syndicates, such as Zillow.com, Trulia.com, and Realtor.com, and hundreds ofothers. This means that you can include your contact information in the description of yourlistings. You can add additional photos to your listings beyond what MLS allows... maybethese photos have your name and phone number on them... can you really do that? Is that‘legal’?
YES!Follow along. It’s easy!
First, log in to your MyKW.KW.com site. Click on the ‘Technology’ item and select KWLS from thedropdown menu.

A new window will open. This is KWLS. Make SURE that the ‘ListHub Enabled’ box is CHECKED,Otherwise, your listings are NOT being syndicated to all of the real estate websites.
Click ‘All’ to see all of your listings.
Then, sort your listings by Status by clicking on ‘Listing Status’ at the top of the column. Like this.
Once all of your Actives are at the top of the list, click on the MLS number to get to the editable listingdata. You should open Notepad or your favorite text editor and type something to the effect of ‘Formore information or to schedule a showing, please text or call Annie Agent at 3309999999’, thencopy it. I will show you how to simply paste this sentence at the end of the description for every listing.You can also add this calltoaction to the description of all of your listing photos.

Click ‘Edit’ after you have clicked on the MLS number. It’s at the bottom of the listing page.
In ‘Edit’, simply scroll down to the ‘Description’ and paste the sentence containing your contact info tothe end of the description. Make sure that the description is LOCKED by clicking the ‘LockDescription’ checkbox. BOOM. There you go. Now your calltoaction and contact info will appear inthe description on all of the popular sites. Do this for all of your listings.

After saving your description, you will have to enter Edit mode again. Just click ‘Edit’ again and thenclick ‘Add Photos’ as shown below.

This is the ‘Add Photos’ section. You don’t have to add photos. It’s here that you can add yourcalltoaction sentence to your photos’ description section.
Scroll down the page past the Add Photos section to view your photos and add Descriptions.
SAVE!!!You are now a KWLS NINJA!
Your contact information will now be shown on Real Estate websites all over the Internet. It will take sometime for the updated listings to appear. The popular sites update your content at different intervals.Zillow.com, however, updates quickly, so get to it.
