Four generations of family-led dynamismFor over 125 years, Brangs + Heinrich has been run as a family business, each

generation carrying on the proud legacy of innovation. Since the turn of the

millennium, that has meant engaging in a dynamic process of digital modernization

and transformation. New corporate management structures were introduced, along

with a fully integrated ERP system designed to replace lengthy and error-prone

manual data consolidation procedures with e� cient reporting. When the new

department of Financial Controlling was tasked with correcting data processing

errors and streamlining fi nancial, controlling, and management processes, however,

it soon became clear that even the new ERP system and individually programmed

Excel-reports would not be up to the job: Management needed more information,

and despite the new system, the three-person controlling department could not

keep up.

Initial results in only 48 hours Using Jedox, the Finance team was able to create sample reports in just two days,

giving internal stakeholders a powerful demonstration of the benefi ts of a professional

reporting solution. Among the selling points were the software‘s familiar Excel-based

user interface, its intuitive planning tools, and rapid successes in independent

implementation and maintenance. Reports that formerly had to be painstakingly

assembled from incomplete data in disparate, inconsistent Excel spreadsheets could

now be created in a matter of hours.
