Petroleum is part of «Ocean» which again is one of six
prioritised areas R&D and technology development within petroleum is refered
to as world leading within the R&D community in Norway The R&D and Technology development must continue to ensure
environmentally friendly, energy- and cost effective exploration and production of oil and gas from the Norwegian Continental Shelf
The industry need research based knowledge to maintain and increase their competitiveness in a global market
Bilateral International Cooperation is very important Brazil and N-America is mentioned in this context
International Cooperation – Priority to EU and 8 Additional Countries

MCTI – MRE signed in 2008, renewed in 2012 (MRE) MCTI – MPE signed the BN21 Addendum in 2013 Bilateral Agreements Between Governmental Financing Bodies CNPq – RCN agreement signed these days FINEP – RCN agreement signing seremony during this seminar
With these Agreements in Hand the Process for Commom Calls can begin – Petroleum will be first out and the Call will be in the Spirit of BN21
