From the BoardSubmitted by Scott Barenbrugge for BEHOA

Now that the summer months are upon us, we thought it might be a goodtime to remind our residents about some of the rules and regulationsand maintenance requirements for members in the community.

First, a couple of rules and regulations to keep in mind. Pursuant to Section 7 ofthe Declaration, all garbage cans are to be stored or kept within homes orgarages, except on garbage pick up days. This means that garbage cans are notbe stored outside, including in front of garages, on porches or on the side ofhomes.

In accordance with Section 3 of the Declaration, no exterior building, wall, fenceor other structure may be erected or altered unless the construction plans andspecifications have been submitted to and approved by the Architectural ReviewCommittee or unless submission is waived by the committee. As a reminder, nopools (above or in‐ground) are permitted.

Second, members are responsible to maintain the condition of their lots. Duringthe warmer months, yards should be well maintained, including regular mowingand weeding of yards and maintenance of existing landscaping. Weeds, underbrush, fallen tree limbs, and other unsightly objects should be promptlyremoved.

We encourage all members to review the regulations contained in theDeclaration which posted on the Association’s website atBreckenridgeestates.org. Please help us maintain the beauty of our community.

Have a Safe and Enjoyable Summer!

Will County DOT intends to begin grading on the eastside of the Plainfield‐Naper and Breckenridge Laneintersection by the end of July, with intersectionimprovements to follow. The entrance will be changedfrom a full‐access to right‐in/right‐out only. We areworking with our landscapingcontractors to salvage hardscapematerials and will be restoring theentrance features next spring.Thank you for your patience whilethis work is performed.

Figaro | 6Y 6M | Male | Domestic ShorthairFigaro here to tell you why you should adopt a mellow, laid‐back cat like me. I’ll be a clean and pretty quietroommate, which is hard to find these days if you ask me. I love to be brushed and have my ears scratched, itfeels so good! I’m working on losing a few pounds so I can be in tip top physical health. I hope my new familywill be able to help me reach my goal. I have lived with cats before, but I don’t know about those other largeand loud animals called dogs. I’ve also lived with young children before. I can’t wait for you to see just howamazing I am.

Iris | 3Y 2M | Female | Unknown Parentage ‐ LargeMy name is Iris, and nothing would make me happier than having a family to share my days with. Myfavorite thing is spending time with my people, playing, snuggling, or just hanging out and watching TV. I dotend to get a bit excited when we play, and I can be a rowdy, so I think children in my new home should haveprevious experience with larger, playful dogs. I might enjoy living with another dog, but no cats for me. Iris isthe first dog to enroll in Project Pawsitive Future. The youth trainers have successfully taught her skills suchas walking with a leash, sit, down, stay, and even giving her paw. Iris is very well trained and has been adelight for not just the youth trainers, but also the other youth and staff.
