Strengths in many areas have made me a well-rounded individual.I know that the personal goals I strive to express will allow me to succeed. After fin-ishing my degree at Southeast Tech, I plan to take my skills and use them as an asset to my father’s business and to myself. The skills that I feel have made this goal attainable are my current work experiences. I worked in a retail store for four years. The atmosphere that I worked in allowed me to take leadership and motivate others in the workplace. I taught others how to be task orientated and use communication to your advantage. Communica-tion is one thing that I strive to stay committed to.
Characteristics like leadership and communication are crucial in the area that I am trying to pursue. The graphic design degree that I will earn in May will allow me to start the rest of my career. My plans for after receiving my degree are pursing one of my passions which is videography. I have dabbled in this area and have found that there is much opportunity. Currently, I am broadening my skills by working at a local print shop and understanding the specifics of print production. My name is Brekan Roths and with the commu-nication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills he path to success will be well attainable.
