Cavitating Liquids...Two- andthree-stage Cavitrol III trims caneliminate cavitation noise anddamage in a valve that has beensized for the flow conditions. Thetrim is normally used wherepressure drop is up to 149 bar for

two-stage and 207 bar for threestage trim.

Liquid passes through cage orificesin each stage, undergoing a portionof the total required pressure drop.This partial pressure drop in eachstage of a properly sized valvenormally prevents the liquidpressure from falling to or below itsvapor pressure, eliminating theformation of vapor bubbles.

FIELDVUE digital valve controllersare communicating,microprocessor-based controllersthat convert a current signal to apressure signal to operate theactuator. Through the HART® communications protocol, thecontroller gives easy access toactuator-valve information that iscritical to process operation.

The Type DVC5010 controller isavailable to mount on sliding-stemactuators.

ValveLink™ Software...ValveLink software allows easyaccess to the information availablefrom the FIELDVUE controller. Thesoftware provides diagnostic
