0Read! Read! Read!0 At least 30 minutes a day of reading keeps skills current0 Ask your child’s teacher for their just right reading level

(ask for grade level equivalence – usually that is what is listed on the back cover of a book)

0 It’s okay to read lower level books for practicing fluency and decoding skills

0 Just right level books are best for comprehension, both literal & inferential

How do I Get my Child to Read?
