Concept
There were four different titles to Bryonys practice and she wanted to be recognised as a pattern designer, art director, stylist and photographer with this in mind. I wanted to create an identity which was clearly recognisable but could also work in four different ways which would represent her different titles.
All Over The Face - Branding/Identity Brief 6 - Selection
AOTF AOTF (All Over The Face) is a collaboration with Bryony Drewhirst a 3rd year Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern student at Leeds College of Art. Bryony was seeking a Graphic Design Student to create an Identity for a her under the name All Over The Face.
Considering the name ‘All Over The Face’ and the four different practices it was a necessary move in my opinion to create 4 different logo-types. The lettering is bespoke, I have designed it especially for this logo.

Brief 6 - Selection All Over The Face - Branding/Identity 03/07
AOTF As part of the collaboration with Bryony I had to apply the identity across a range of appropriate business stationery. Business Stationery included business cards, letterhead and compliment slip. To Communicate the fact that she’s a patter designer I have included some of her works in the stationery as back pages to really show off her work. The bright colours really help these workings stand out.

The design direction was to break the word infrastructure up to its pronunciation syllables by doing this it shows the structure of the word, a subtle decision but helps drive the concept and theme visually through the design.

The brief was to create a visual engaging documentation of a trip I went on to Italy last summer. The layout should be authentic to match the film photographed images being used. As the publi-cation is image heavy it was necessary to create a layout which wasn’t static and each page had to feel fresh.

The Layout is kept very minimal whilst changing throughout the narrative of the book so the layout doesn’t become more static break spreads in the form of double spread duotone imagery is used to help slow the pace of the book down.
