Holistic Development Profile• To reduce over-emphasis on academic results and focus on holistic development of

each student

• Subject-specific learning outcomes (LOs) and qualitative descriptors are used toreport students’ learning progress for all subjects in Semester 1 and Semester 2

• Using formative assessment tools to gauge learning outcomes and students’strengths as well as areas for improvement

Holistic Development Profile

• Provide timely feedback to students for improvement, parents to know their child’s progress & teachers to improve teaching

• Focus on achievement of the learning outcomes (LOs) for each subject

• Qualitative descriptors instead of marks are used to inform parents of their child’s progress.

• 4 levels: Beginning, Developing, Competent, Accomplished

Eunos Primary Learning Dispositions : DARE

Learning dispositions are positive behaviours and attitudes towards learning. They are important for students in their journey as life-long learners and they support student’s learning and development in the various learning areas.

There are four learning dispositions (DARE) that we seek to develop in every student:

- Determined Learner- Active Learner- Respectful Learner- Engaged Learner

Eunos Primary Learning Dispositions : DAREDetermined Learner-I complete tasks to the best of my ability

-I do my work by myself-I always aim to give my best in all activities

Respectful Learner-I show consideration to others

-I pay attention when others are talking-I wait for my turn patiently-I get the attention of my teachers in a polite

manner, eg raising my hand

Active Learner-I show enthusiasm in all activities

-I ask questions when I do not understand or when I want to learnmore-I ask my teacher for feedback so I can improve-I respond to my teachers when they speak to me or ask mequestions

-I participate in the activities for my class

Engaged Learner-I am always ready for learning

-I hand in my work and forms punctually-I have all the materials needed for the lesson-I take responsibility for noting work and

instructions in my school diary

Edusave Good Progress Award (GPA)

This award is given to students who have shown significant improvements in

their display of learning dispositions (LD) as observed by their teachers over

the course of the entire year.

PAL aims to foster the joy of learning in our young learners.Through participating in meaningful learning experiences,our students develop soft skills such as the ability tocommunicate confidently and clearly, cooperate withothers and have a sense of curiosity in the world they livein. PAL emphasises on inculcating values and developingsocial and emotional competencies, supporting thestudents’ holistic development.

• Partner the school in the holistic development of your child

• Foster the Joy of learning in your child/ward so that they can be
