These are all facilitated at our Brick Live’s amazing Touring Asset Shows, in addition to working at public interactive events as part of our events calendar. This is a hands-on, physical and interactive role where we are looking for a chosen candidate who is passionate about events; either with prior experience in the industry or looking to start in the industry with this exciting opportunity. This does include a commitment to working long hours at times, however with the reward and satisfaction of seeing the end result of our amazing Shows/Events produced and displayed for the public across the world. The chosen candidate will be guaranteed some travel time in tandem with the job with the opportunity to work across the UK, Europe and potentially other continents like the USA etc.

Role Purpose

The Events Coordinator role will take responsibility for, and take part in, the delivery of our events, installations, derigs and model deliveries. Key Accountabilities

1 Reporting to the Show & Events Manager.

2Understand each event and the timescales of delivery. This includes working alongside other departments ensuring the best method is achieved to deliver the project.

3To assist with and organise product delivery and logistics plans to meet the requirements/expectations of clients and venues. Ensuring that the product arrives at the correct location, on time and undamaged.

4To facilitate an event or take part in installations, derigs and deliveries when required. This may involve either working alone, or with other Events Coordinators or Freelance Events Facilitators (depending on the size of the job and delivery).

5The ability to be flexible and facilitate events and installations on evenings and weekends, as required. This includes travelling abroad if needed and having an up to date passport.

6 Assist in the packing process of all models and content, to ensure models aren’t damaged.

7 To assist if needed in all off-site storage and transportation of models.

8 To understand each project requirement to ensure correct items have been dispatched.

9 Any other work required for the company that the Show & Events Manager deems necessary.

10Proactively seek to identify and develop the quality and value of business processes by reviewing own and other’s activities, proposing and implementing new policies, processes and methods to improve controls, delivery and efficiency.

Control your work activities and maintain own and shared workspace in a clean and tidy manner ensuring own health & safety and that of colleagues and visitors who may be affected by your acts or omissions. Co-operate with the company to enable it to meet its own responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

Essential Desirable

1 Excellent interpersonal, customer service, presentation (articulate, confident speaker) and communication skills (both written and verbal).

1 Previous events experience in a similar role.

2 Flexibility and commitment to the role: potentially working long hours.

2 Previous experience or confidence using hand tools and other equipment such as ladders and pump trucks.

3 Flexibility to work anti-social hours, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.

3 Previous experience of driving larger vehicles/vans.

4 Excellent Time management, efficient, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

5 Holder of a valid Driver’s Licence and up to date Passport.

6 Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

7 Ability to cope with responsibility and remain calm under pressure.

General Responsibilities

To be fully aware of the below:

To attend all fire, health and safety training as requested. To attend all training and meetings as requested. Adhere to all the company’s policies and procedures.

Other Information

The role is based at the Bordon office (GU35 9QF) but will involve travelling to various locations for events and installations/de-rigs.

The Job holder will be required to be flexible to meet with project deadlines. The job holder must be prepared for possible vaccinations when travelling to certain

continents worldwide for the setup of our events. This information will be managed carefully and communicated to the job holder.

Benefits

Enrolment on the company’s workplace pension scheme. 20 days holiday per annum (calendar year), plus bank holidays. Holiday entitlement
