Solutions like feedbuds come from working together with customers and being

open to new approaches, customized formulas and fresh applications. Feedbuds

are a comprehensive line of dry and liquid flavor products that have been proven

to increase the palatability of animal feeds - thus improving feeding efficiency and

maximizing profit potential for producers.

Our approach to making feedbuds.

Feedbuds flavor systems are complex mixtures of attractant and masking

compounds which impart the appropriate type of aroma and flavor at the optimal

level.

Our custom formulated flavors are the result of decades of expertise working with

food and feed ingredients – and from listening to customers and following a process

that develops the precise products they need.

Feedbuds are about flavor and long-lasting aroma. They’re versatile and easy to use

in powdered and liquid form. They’re specifically formulated to support intake and

to be safe on digestive systems. And they work. Animals find feedbuds “lick the

bowl” attractive.

Feedbuds has several stabilization systems, including:

• Antioxidants for rancidity prevention • Emulsifiers for improved mixing and coating of feeds • Preservatives for improved shelf life and pelleting stability

• Plastic-lined packaging to control loss of volatile aromas

We make many flavors and forms of feedbuds with the goal of meeting your exact

needs. We can also work with you to customize feed solutions.

Our Palatability Modifiers come in a variety of dry and liquid formulations to

help maintain consistent feed consumption, maximize feed intake and growth.

Our Sweeteners help to keep a consistent flavor in front of animals, avoiding

potential feed rejections when commodity sources or consistency changes.

For situations where control of animal intake is necessary, we also produce Intake

Limiter products, Bitter Orange Dry and Bitter Orange Liquid, to help keep

intake levels down. This can be important in situations where overconsumption of

protein and energy supplements can be costly or wasteful.
