Registration Registration opens November 15 th. Email blasts to start on October 24, beginning with a save the date announcement. promotional emails to be sent on a biweekly basis with new announcements of keynote speakers etc. The first 2,000 people to register by February 25th will receive a complimentary copy of Sheryl Sandberg's not yet released provocative book about female leadership, Lean In. Books are scheduled for release on March 12th. Allow 3-5 business days for shipping. Other early registration incentives include Early Bird pricing, and for anyone who registers by December 1 st, premium seating in the keynote session, and an opportunity win a trip on American Airlines Slide 8 General Highlights Program Lean In Circles and seminars will be conducted simultaneously. 50% of the attendees will attend one of four Lean In circles in the morning50% of the attendees will attend one of four Lean In circles in the afternoon. We suggest the following four seminar sessions, three of these speakers are some of the strongest presenters from the webinar series. This will provide a deeper the learning opportunity for members. Harvard Universitys Erica Ariel Fox who has offered a conflict resolution training she does at the Harvard Negotiation Unit. Thurnderbird Universitys Distinguished Professor Mansour Javidan who has offered his Global Mindset Inventory training. Nick Jankel who has has run a global innovation agency for 13 years and is now a partner in the Global Leaders Academy has offered his presentation on leading innovation. Sharon Meers and Joanna Strober who will share their insights on getting to 50/50. We have two keynote spots yet to firm up. We suggest an inspiration global speakers for one of these possibly Madeline Albright or a well-know international business leader, and are hoping to secure a national ABC news personality (i.e. Katie Couric) for the other. There are no keynote introductions by sponsors. Instead, the first 5 gold plus or above sponsors to commit for 2013 would have the opportunity to place a senior executive on the end of day panel. The panel will give sponsoring companies an opportunity to highlight their best practices around womens issues, and address the emerging issues raised by the Lean In circles. At the end of the day, both attendees and sponsors will leave with a) new skills, b) a new network, and c) a clear roadmap for advancing their careers, and advancing opportunities for women in business. Key topics that arise from the Lean In circles will form the content for the end of day panel discussion. Slide 9 General Highlights Venue layout and set-up Keynote Sessions will be in theater seating. Sections will be reserved for each tier of sponsor. Break-Out Sessions will be in rounds to allow more interaction, collaboration and networking. Lean In circles will be 50% of the break-out space. Lunch will be in the break-out rooms, not the keynote room. This gives options for private sponsor lunches, reserved table sales, table topic discussions or just open seating. Slide 10 Beyond the Conference Many corporate partners have expressed less and less interested in logo placement and attending a one-day regional event. They are looking for a program that serves their global employee base. For this reason, they are very attracted to the Webinar Series, which can be experienced in multiple time zones and locations. Sponsors are asking for a way to apply this same opportunity to the conference. As a benefit to all Gold Plus and above sponsors, PBWC could provide a virtual workshop, that would be a half-day event that sponsoring companies could facillitate around the world. The virtual workshop could include: A custom video opening outlining the program, and relating it to the global audience The conference opening keynote session A facilitation model for conducting live Lean In circles 60 minute break where participants around the world conduct their own live circles Video reports from Lean In circles at the conference testimonials from women who participated The conference closing keynote session where executives from their companies addressed the key issues raised by the attendees and shared best practices Information how to form an online Lean In circle and grow their networks globally This content would be available to all Gold Plus and above sponsoring companies for a 30-day period following the conference.
