About This DocumentThe Brocade Fabric OS Features and Standards Support Matrix provides a high-level, consolidated view of all featuressupported on Brocade® Fibre Channel platforms that run Fabric OS® 9.0.x. Use the tables in this document to determine ifa feature is supported on your product.

How Each Feature Is Markedin the Support Tables Description

Fabric OS version The feature is introduced in this Fabric OS (FOS) version for the platforms specified for that column.For example, REST API was introduced in FOS 8.2.0 for the Gen 6 platforms and was introducedin FOS 9.0.0 for the Gen 7 platforms. For earlier supported FOS features, Fabric OS 8.1.0 isconsidered the minimum supported version, meaning that features will use Fabric OS 8.1.0 or lateras the supported versions.

No The feature is not supported for the particular release on the platforms specified for that column. Forexample, the Traffic Optimizer feature is supported on the Gen 7 platforms but is not supported in theGen 6 platforms.

N/A The feature is not supported for any release on the platforms specified for that column. For example,Access Gateway mode is not supported on any directors or chassis.
