Salgados Golf Club is one of the most popular golf courses in the Algarve and now more golfers enjoying the recent improvements from a 450,000 euro new irrigation system and course improvements. The Florida design has water on nearly every hole on this par-72 course. Lakes, small ponds, and narrow waterways are all encountered as golfers make their way from tee to tee. Many times the water hazards stretch across two, three, and even four holes at a time, making the course a real challenge. Many holes have views across the beautiful un-spoilt nature reserve with its varied bird varieties, including the flamingo. Low handicapped players will be challenged, especially playing from the championship tees - totaling 6690 yards of play. In addition, those with less golfing experience can play from three other sets of tees - with the front tees totaling 5180 yards.

Salgados Golf Club is perfectly situated only 40 minutes from Faro airport and only 10 minutes from the centre of Albufeira. The comfortable clubhouse, offers a wide range of facilities with a restaurant, bar and meeting rooms for private functions.

CS Álamos Golf Course

Opened in March 2006, this is undoubtedly a different course from many in the Algarve. The 18 holes course, has a breathtaking view over the dam and vineyards of Reguengo. The course is unique in that there are no houses or developments in sight, revealing the real inner calm of the Algarve. Different is also the design of the course, with its undulating fairways narrower than those of Morgado Golf and with each hole to be well defined by trees and bunkers. The greens are smaller and tactically positioned to bring in the many bunkers that guard all the greens. Together, the CS Morgado do Reguengo Resort golf courses represent a complete test on the abilities of the golfer, and ensuresome unique moments of pure pleasure.
