LEXUS CAR SHOWROOM
LEIGH-‐ON-‐SEA
The new Lexus Car Showroom is situated in Stephenson Road, Leigh-‐On-‐Sea, Essex. We were awarded the Contract for the New Lexus Car Showroom by John Mowlem & Co PLC, who were appointed as the Main Contractors. The total contract value was £41,964. Our involvement in the project was to produce a mono pitched structural steel framed building, including all purlins. The total weight of the steel was 17.5 tonnes.
NEWHAM GENERAL HOSPITAL
NEWHAM, LONDON
Newham General Hospital is situated in the East End, only a short distance from the Millennium dome. It Services one of London’s largest Boroughs. We were awarded the contract from MANSELL PLC. The total contract value was £35,142. Our involvement in the project was to produce: Gable props with stainless steel wires, structural steelwork for the entrance canopy, cat ladders, galvanised staircases with handrails, galvanised chequer plate flooring and roof balustrading. The completed works, including the new roof design gave a striking high tech visually improved appearance to the Hospital. Our advertisement and the cover story of Newham General Hospital, were featured in the Construction South Magazine.
CITY POINT BUILDING
MOOR LANE, LONDON
City Point is situated in Moor Lane, London EC2. We were awarded the Contract by Forest Construction Ltd. The contract value was £70,000. Our involvement in the Project was to produce structural steelwork in the Basement for the Scenic Lift. Total steel weight was 17 tonnes. “City Point is an example of one of our challenging contracts. We were appointed to fabricate and install steelwork for the lift shaft at lower ground level, in the basement of the building. Lifting equipment had t be manufactured in order to be able to threadle and position heavy steel in very tight spaces. There wasn’t any access for heavy plant in this challenging project, which was completed due to the company’s expertise and teamwork.”
RICHMOND, SURREY
CASSEL HOSPITAL
Cassel Hospital is situated in Ham Common, Richmond Surrey. We were awarded the Contract by Troy Construction Ltd. The contract value was £24,000. Our involvement in the Project was to produce structural steelwork, a Helical Staircase and Internal Handrails. The balustrading for the Helical Staircase was constructed out of perforated mild steel. The Helical Staircase (above right), erected at Cassel Hospital prior to painting.

MONCRIEF LONDON
Moncrief London is a British luxury collection of luggage and travel accessories hand-‐made in Italy, using the finest French and Italian leathers. Moncrief London’s collection is available at NETAPORTER AND HARRODS. Moncrief London were opening their London Store in Burlington Arcade, Piccadilly, London and asked us to produce bespoke Display Units. Our role was to produce bespoke hand-‐made highly polished Stainless Steel and Glass Display Units to exhibit their beautiful collection and to nickel plate the two door handles for their new store.
BALUSTRADING
BARCLAYS BANK -‐ VARIOUS BARCLAYS BANKS at Various Locations Jovic Steel was awarded the Contract by Willmott Dixon Our role was to produce and install Stainless Steel and Glass Balustrading.
NORTHBROOKS HARLOW FOR APOLLO LONDON LTD
Jovic Steel was awarded this contract by Apollo London Ltd.
The total contract value was
£12,000.
Our involvement was to produce a Staircase enclosure.
STAINLESS & GLASS WALES 1 BUS. PARK, MAGOR
Wales 1 Business Park in Monmouthshire is a prestigious new 17-‐acre business park development and home to a new 127-‐bedroom Hampton Hotel planned by Hilton. It is a prime location, close to the Celtic Manor (home of the Ryder Cup 2010) and Chepstow Racecourse. Designed by Boyesrees Architects. Contractor was Charnwood Group. Our role was to produce and install a galvanized external fire escape and stainless steel and glass balustrade.
