About 25 years ago, we spent our first holidays in Italy and it was love at the first sight. We have been returning to this special country every year ever since. The beautiful landscape, the pleasant climate, the people, the atmosphere and the splendid food – for us, this is enjoying in its purest form and we would like to share this ultimate holiday feeling with others.

In this uniquely decorated house, we get home in the lovely Umbria time after time. Enjoying tastful pasta with a glass of Italian wine – in the shadow or sun – on the spacious terrace, finding some refreshment in the large swimming pool, going out for dinner in one of the near villages, going for cultural trips in the larger surroundings or just going for a walk in the pristine nature. It is all possible. In and around this house you smell, taste and feel the best of Italy!

This special 160 square-meter holiday home is part of the luxurious Riva villa estate (with four apartments) that was built in the hills of Umbria in 2012.

A surprising entrance with toilet offers access to a stylish living room with cosy lounge area, extensive kitchen and large dining table. On the ground floor, one can also find a tastefully decorated master bedroom with luxurious bathroom. Outside, there is a large sun terrace with loggia, surrounded by a private garden and swimming pool. Upstairs, another two double bedrooms as well as one comfortable bathroom are to be found.

The house has exceptionally massive walls for a pleasant indoor climate and many windows for plenty of sunlight and a beautiful view around.

Casa Mazzo has been built recently and is therefore equipped with all contemporary comfort. The entire house has been finished with first-class materials and derives its quality from premium furniture and beautiful sanitary. Even textiles, such as linen by Missoni, have been selected with care. The kitchen has a generous countertop and you can find a six-burner furnace and nice retro fridge of Smeg. The house is fully equipped, also for families with children, and features satellite television and wireless internet.The comfort doesn’t stop at the French doors in the living room; the terrace is partially roofed, has two large dining tables and a lounge corner. The swimming pool (which, together with occasional guests of the attached apartment, you have exclusive access to) is extraordinarily large, six times twelve square meters, and borders a wine yard.

The building, the garden and the interior have been created as an entity by professional designers. Children are very welcome at Casa Mazzo. Two baby cots (60 x 120 cm) are available on request. A high chair, toys and arm floats are present in the house. The terrace can be closed by little gates, so small children cannot make their way to the swimming pool by themselves.

Pets are not allowed.Smoking is not permitted at Casa Mazzo.

By trainTrains from the north and south stop at the railway station of Chianciano Terme/Chiusi (31 km). In Chiusi, a car could be rented.

By airplaneThere are European direct flights to Perugia (45 km), Florence (160 km), Rome (180 km) and Pisa (220 km). Rental car services are at every airport.
