1 STUDIES AND STUDY LEADERS Climate Justice: Call to Hope and Action

Rev. Dana Horrell Dana Horrell, Ph.D. is a consultant, writer and film maker specializing in community ministry and social action. His dissertation tells the history of eco-justice action in the National Council of Churches from 1970 to 1990. In 2015-16, with grants from the Louisville Institute, he studied how congregations do social ministry. He is currently producing videos on best practices in congregational social ministry. (see his You Tube channel) He is the Executive Producer of Faithful Citizen, a multi-media adult study on global issues published by Logos Productions in 2012. www.logosproductions.com Dana blogs about social ministry at faithfulcitizen.net and is a United Methodist pastor who lives in Albany.

The Bible and Human Sexuality

Glory E. Dharmaraj Dr. Glory Dharmaraj is a retired director of spiritual formation and mission theology for the United Methodist Women. Prior to that she served as the Administrator of the United Methodist Seminar Program on National and International Affairs at the Church Center for the United Nations, New York. She is author and co-author of several books. Her recent book , A Theology of Mutuality: A Paradigm for 21st Century (2014) was co-authored with Jacob Dharmara and published by United Methodist Women. Glory has addressed several national and inter-national level conferences on the theme of Christian mission, interfaith, and media and gender. She has been serving as a study leader for Mission u at regional and conference levels for 25 years. She has involved the UMW in the Global Media Monitoring Project (GMMP) since its inception in 1995. In this capacity she coordinated the monitoring of the role and image of women in the national media and presented the results of the recent 2015 GMMP at the United Nations. Glory got her Ph.D. from Loyola University, Chicago. She has done special studies at Harvard and joint studies on doctor of ministries at San Francisco Theological Seminary and Ecumenical Theological Education at the World Council of Churches Geneva. Her favorite hobby is listening to medieval chants and lyrics in her mother tongue, Tamil.
