Versatile Track ChangeOne of the highlights of the Flexi-Track is the ability to “jump“ from one IPE 100 beam to the other, once two beams are parallel to each other the cart can perform a swing which changes the driving lane by always assuring that the cart is safely stuck between the beams for which the carts cannot fall on the floor. This gives the carts the opportunity to choose among different possible routes and to even modify the route according to the incoming real-time news received from the other carts.

Artificial IntelligenceEach Flexi-Cart is equipped with a sophisticated artificial intelligence which allows them to autonomously execute its transportation command. The carts receive an order of pick-up and delivery and calculate the best route to reach their destination. Furthermore they communicate with each other to receive real-time updates of the traffic conditions.

Flexi-Track is an aerial system which can either hang from the ceiling, be mounted on the walls or be installed with columns on the floor. In all cases it frees up valuable working space, which can be dedicated to the production process instead of material handling.

The Flexi-Carts are able to transport different goods of various sizes and forms as it can be customised. Singular Logistics has developed a ”Standard hook” which is designed to transport Euroboxes, without the need to stop at pick-up or delivery. Additionally Singular Logistics has can provide an elevation hook to surmount height differences.

Easy Installation Low Installation Cost

Scalability Safety ProtectionTo guarantee the safety of all employees and machines, Singular Logistics provides a simple protection mesh which is installed directly on the anchor points of the installation.As the rest of the installation, the mesh too is designed to be installed without the need of welding. Sensors and software error check systems make sure that the carts are travelling safely on the IPE 100 beams.

Flexi-Track is easily installed as well as expanded in the future if required. To further simplify the installation, Singular Logistics has developed a beam assembly system based on an anchoring mechanism which doesn’t require any on site welding, but basic tools only.

The use of standard elements such as regular beams, instead of sophisticated and expensive infrastructure, including pricey turnable conveyors, reduces significantly the investment. The absence of a complex central control system reduces the infrastructure cost further.

The material handling capacity of the Flexi-Track depends on the amount of carts implemented in the system. It is therefore perfectly suitable for any amount of material handling requirements. Furthermore it does not require a minimum size of installation. Consequently, Flexi-Track goes hand in hand with the evolution of the material handling requirements of the production process without ever interrupting or conditioning it. The system is therefore never under- nor over-dimensioned.
