The Nipstadsfisket is an exclusive salmon and pike fishing that is being performed in Ångermanälven in the middle of sollefteå. The area is 200 meters on each side of the river, downstream of Sollefteå powerplant.

In the month of july the fishing is at is best. the 14th june the recordsalmon got caught. the salmon weig-hed in on 24,2kg. from seine fishing there’s a reported salmon with the weight of 32,8kg, caught on 19th july 1995. The odds of catching a big salmon are good.

The spinfly fishing is best during late evenings and nights while on the flyfishing area some salmon is be-ing caught during daytime.The choosing of flies are determined by weather, the colour on the water, the flow and the temperature of the water. The Nipstadsfisket is one of Sollefteå’s foremost tou-rist attractions and it is vital to book the twelve attrac-tive fishing spots that is available during light summer-nights in time!

SOLLEFTEÅ CAMPINGFamily friendly campsite close to the center of Sol-lefteå. Beautifully located close to the Ångermanland river.

The large cot in Kåtabyn holds about 30 seated guests and is an excellent venue for various gatherings. Here you can sit down and enjoy a nice wilderness dinner, buy a beer in the bar or maybe listen to a troubadour.The cot has large wonderful pentaglyphs in the cei-ling that takes us back in time and a big fireplace wich keeps you warm.Connected to the cot the Mongolian yurt can be found. Welcome to the 25th anniversary of Nipyran!In 2014 the 25th Nipyran is being held in Sollefteå. An admirable age for a festival that in recent years has expanded a lot.

18th -26th of july 2014 the events of Nipyran starts off, with Trollskoj XL and the two days of Laxfesti-valen (The Salmonfestival) friday and saturday as the three last days of Nipyran.

A week full of activities and events for all ages in the city of Sollefteå wich ends in the much anticipated Laxfestivalen.Every day has a different theme with activities that fits the theme of the day and almost every evening there’s some performance on the scene in the park, like bands playing music, dance shows, plays and more.

If it’s one thing one shouldn’t miss it’s the two days of laxfestivalen when the whole town gathers in the city park and enjoys a cold one inside the beertents and areas listening to the bands and artists on the scene.

Welcome to Näsåker July 31st to August 2nd, 2014 to celebrate Urkults 20th anniversary with us!

In the first weekend of August Näsåker is overflowing with love and music from around the world. It has become a popular festival for all ages and tastes. An in-spiring weekend with loving people, worldwide music, concerts, workshops, theaters, poetry slam and lots of other interesting encounters.

Urkult is without a doubt one of the friendliest fes-tivals in sweden. A folk and world music fest for all ages and differencies. A meeting place and a source of inspiration.

For three days in early August, the world comes to Näsåker and concerts succeed each other in several scenes. It is offered in both plain and calm as fast and wild, in one of the most beautiful places that a festival

can be held at. A natural amphitheater surrounded by northern Swedens pines agaings a background of Ång-ermanälvens mighty roar. Urkult starts off with the marvelous and grand Eldnat-ten (Night of Fire) - a magical play with drums, songs, dance and fire that you are not allowed to miss.
