Before we say goodbye… :)
We would like to thank everybody that has contributed to
this project. Thanks to it, both teachers and students have
had a great chance to meet other cultures and, first and
foremost, to have the time of their life. During the exchang-
es, students lived with host families. That might be regarded
as a great lesson of tolerance and openness of mind.
Moreover, the Comenius programme required speaking
English, which resulted in enhancing students’ motivation
to learn that foreign language more eagerly. In other words,
students realised that knowing English broadens the
horizons and opens lots of gates to the world. It seems that
playing traditional games developed students’ knowledge
and understanding of the diversity of European cultures.
Furthermore, the project developed respect, and
appreciation for other cultures. We do hope that this
project will stay in our heart and mind… forever.
