Ongoing Bronco Bookstore programs to offer affordable options:
• Textbook Rental • Buyback and used books• Low-cost formats: package components, loose-leaf versions, etc.• “Sliding” Margins • Digital Options including
• Jumpbooks/CourseSmart (Access codes generated by our store POS system)
• Partnership with CENGAGE BRAIN - link on our website

• Evolved from the Digital Marketplace pilots• Lessons learned:
• Students and faculty wanted choice of whether to use digital
• Savings had to be more than used book/buyback savings

• Course Material OPTION in e-book formats from 4 approved vendors:
- CourseSmart- NookStudy - CengageBrain - CafeScribe
• E-books priced at 60% off the new print book.

• Faculty choose books based on content and course needs
• Faculty *encouraged* to choose titles with matching RentDigital versions
• Faculty do not have to use an e-book themselves to make option available for students
• Bookstore will check all adopted titles against available RentDigital offerings

• Students have ability to print, highlight, take notes on all RentDigital platforms
• Students choose which device/s to use to access – don’t have to have a Nook or iPad
• Refundable as long as certain conditions met• Within bookstore refund period• % of content already accessed

As always… we depend on faculty cooperation & timely textbook requisitions
• Due dates are same every year, tied to registration dates:Fall@ 2nd or 3rd Friday of May, Winter= Oct. 15, Spring=3rd Friday of January, Summer= April 15
• Department coordinators & chairs notified via email 3-4 weeks ahead of each due date.
• Dates also publicized in PolyUpdates and posted on Faculty page of store website.

As always… we depend on faculty cooperation & timely textbook requisitions
• Requisitions can be submitted online or emailed to [email protected]
• Incentive program offered to thank departments and faculty who help us by following our due dates.
