you to this year’s sale offering. As always we are committed to

raising cattle for the commercial industry. Cattle with extra

length while still maintaining thickness and depth with strong

HERD HEALTH: The 2010 calves received Vista Once SQ and Vision 8 Somnus with SPUR in the spring as well as a booster in the fall. All sale cattle were treated with Iveron in the fall. The purebred bred heifers were pregnancy examined on September 15.

Xcel is a real well balanced, stylish Coalition son. He has the thickness and width over his top along with conservative markings gives him endless possibilities. This Coalition son is built like a brick. He is moderate in stature but very thick and sound. His mother is an awesome daughter of Moose. It is hard to make a cow much better - super udder, easy doing and attractive. Her full brother Tomahawk 64T's sons were a hit in last year's sale. He is now working for the Kuderas at Wildwood.

When Xtra was born, he was the spitting image of his sire - thick, lots of hair, and pigment. He has continued on with that pattern. His mother is a heavy milking Blockbuster daughter that descends from the old Rose cow family known for their longevity.

Here is a Coalition son with unlimited potential. He is built with the same length and depth of quarter as his sire. He always reminded me of Coalition in the advertising. His mother has been a top performer both in the show ring and pasture. She was the dam to the last year's high seller Wrangler 29W to Crittenden Bros. & Jay Holmes.

Another real eye appealing Coalition son that is bred very similar to the lot 5 & 6 calves. The maternal side of this pedigree is very strong. Queen 3M was the mother to last year's Medicine Hat Bull Sale Champion. Then you have 179J who is a daughter of 42A - Federation's mother. Tons of maternal capabilities - wow!

This is the youngest calf in the sale, but make sure you have a real good look. He is stout from end to end. The bottom side of his pedigree is very strong as you will see. A sister was one of the top heifer calves that Erica is using as her 4-H project. A top Scotland Yard son is working for the Pearson Ranch.

We used Robin Hood on the heifers, after seeing the impact he has made on the industry. He did not disappoint us as these calves were born easy, got up, and grew, as you can see by this stout calf. The Ranchman females are making real nice cows.

Another light birth weight son of the Robin Hood bull. He is out of a real deep bodied, easy keeping, two year old Starbuck daughter. She goes back to Kashmir whose progeny have done real well in Denmark and Australia. A maternal sister sells as our feature heifer calf Lot 48.

A light birthweight son of Utah who also has the same depth, length, and pigment as the other Utahs in the offering. He is from a heavy milking, good uddered line of cows that always moderate birthweight.

Definite herd bull potential here. A very well balanced, heavy muscled, smooth shouldered, 100% pigmented son of Terrorist. Terrorist has done a tremendous job at BAR-RZ and so far has easily surpassed all expectations. Triple X is also backed by a very powerful cow family with outstanding performance, excellent feet and udders. Triple X deserves your attention sale day.

Class winner at the Hardistry Bull calf futurity in August. "X-MAN” could be the thickest hind quartered calf we have ever raised. A very strong calf from the side profile but when you walk behind him you will be even more impressed with his wide top, thick butt and large testicles. If you want to level udders, improve feet, add docility or build a cow herd then look no further. "X-Mans" dam is as picture perfect as they come.

This is our first group of calves from “53X’s sire who we purchased from the Crittenden’s for his performance, eye appeal, correctness, and Outcross genetics. 53X has the shape, style, eye appeal, correctness, excellent hair coat and 100% pigmentation. His dam is as good as they get. Thick feminine, excellent feet, udder and pigmentation galore. A half brother is working at Holden Herefords in Montana.

Another high performance son of Terrorist. This bull will give added length, frame, and muscle. He is dark cherry red with 100% pigmentation. Dam is a very good Jefferson daughter with great feet and a nice udder. Lots of performance in this cow family.

Here is a deep ribbed Papillon heifer. We purchased her mother out of this sale two years ago, when she was one of the high selling bred heifers in Canada that fall. She turned out to be a super uddered 6P daughter that did not disappoint with 20W being her first calf. Like her mother 20W is yellow with lots of hair. If you are in the bull business this is definitely a heifer you will want to take a look at. She was exposed to Hawkeye 31R Tomahawk 1T from June 7th to Aug. 20th.

This heifer is out of the popular calving ease 21M bull from the Ulrich’s. Her mother is a good milking 82N cow that was our pick at the Supremacy Sale two years ago. 732T probably has our best bull calf this year out of Tomahawk, and 6W looks like she should produce just as good as her. This heifer was exposed to Hawkeye 31R Tomahawk 1T from June 7th to August. 20th.

Tomahawk is an extremely long easy doing bull. I just love calving out heifers and cows bred to him. It doesn’t take them long and the calves sure get up in a hurry, very vigorous. Tomahawk also had good performance as he weaned off of a two year old at 1000 lbs with no creep on my native grass. Co-owned with Ross & Arlene Stafford.

Export cattle will have necessary health tests done. Other costs (ie. brokerage, etc.) will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

INSURANCE: Agents will be in attendance to insure your purchases. We strongly recommend that insurance is purchased for full value.

ERRORS: All announcements at sale time, written or oral, supercede any written material in the catalogue.

LUNCH: Join us for lunch prior to the sale.

BULL WINTERING - On bull purchases of $2,250 or more, and yearling purchases of $2,750 or more, we will winter your bull free of charge until April 1, 2011. On bull purchases less than above cost of wintering will be $2.00/day for calves and $2.50/day for yearling bulls. All bulls being wintered must be insured. Bring your trailer sale day, take home your purchase, and receive a $100.00 discount.
