All “MUST” addenda and revised Bid Sheets are considered a matter of responsiveness. “MUST” addenda must be returned with your Bid, or acknowledged on the Bid Sheet Form/Bid Tender Form. All revised Bid Sheets must be returned with your Bid. Failure of a Submitter to or acknowledge the addenda and return the revised Bid Sheets shall be cause for rejection of the bid.

To all prospective bidders, please note the following changes and clarifications: Words in strikethrough type are deletions from existing text. Words in bold underlined type are additions to existing text. 1. The Bid Opening Date has been revised as follows: April 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Location remains the
same.
2. Form 004113-2: Schedule of PRICES BID, Page 32 of 84, Request for Approved Equals, deadline date has been revised to April 3, 2014, no later than 5:00 p.m.
3. The CBE goals remains as 23%.
4. Details – Deleted in Attachment U, Pages 1 – 139 Details, of the Project Manual and separate document posted on the website are replaced in its entirety. Revised Details are posted as a separate PDF file with the solicitation on the Purchasing Division’s website
5. The following changes are made to the Contract Documents: Article 3, Contract Time, Page 7 of 60, Paragraph 3.2. In accordance with Article 6 of the Contract within 14 30 calendar days from the date of Substantial Completion.

6. PROJECT MANUAL BROWARD COUNTY REQUIREMENTS SECTION 01 10 00, 1.7 WORK RESTRICTIONS A. is revised to add: 3. Weekend Work Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. unless restricted by the municipality:
Saturday Work – Work will not be permitted on Saturdays unless Owner is notified at least 48 hours prior to commencement of such work. Approval of Saturday work will be at the Owner’s discretion.
Sunday Work – Work will be permitted on Sundays during weekend work hours detailed above. SUMMARY OF WORK SECTION 01 11 00, 1.4 B. DEMOLITION – ALL ROOF AREAS: 1. Is deleted in its entirety. Due to the lack of an existing lightning protection system.
1. Remove existing lightning protection system at all roof areas, retain for reinstallation and protect as
required. Installed system design and materials to conform to all applicable current codes, provide matching and/or replacement material as required achieving this goal. Completed system is to (re) certified per U.L. Lightning Protection Institute. All lightning protection equipment will be re-installed per details with new equipment provided by the lightning protection contractor, and coordinated by the roofing contractor.
SECTION 01 11 00, 1.4 C. ROOF SYSTEM INSTALLATION: 8. Is deleted in its entirety. Due to the lack of an existing lightning protection system. 8. Reinstall the lightning protection system using the existing components and new components as required to comply with current U.L. requirements. Provide new U.L. Master Label for lightning protection system or if obtaining a Master Label would require modification of building components and/or systems outside of the scope of work of this project, a Letter of Findings is to be provided VEHICULAR ACCESS AND PARKING SECTION 01 55 00, PART 3 EXECUTION, 3.1 CONSTRUCTION PARKING CONTROL is revised to add: D. Contractor parking, storage and staging is restricted to the southwest area of the facility, unless otherwise approved by the Owner. VEHICULAR ACCESS AND PARKING SECTION 01 55 00, PART 3 EXECUTION, 3.2 CONSTRUCTION PARKING CONTROL is revised to add: D. Contractor parking is restricted to area detailed above unless otherwise approved by Owner. Owner will not allow parking in spaces designated for “Art Serve” at any time.

SECTION 26 41 13 LIGHTNING PROTECTION, is deleted in its entirety.
All other terms, conditions and specifications remain unchanged for this bid. NAME OF COMPANY: _________________________________________________
